Now, I doubt I would vote for this woman if we had a good senator, the likes of a Merkeley or a Sanders, but I would love to see Deep Stater Schumer, if not loose the election-- one must be realistic--at least not win overwhelmingly.
The point here is that one's protest vote does not need to stop with the presidential section on the ballot.
Does anyone here know anything about Ms. Wilson?

Green, US Senator, Colorado
We have a green candidate running against Michael Bennet in CO as well. I won't vote for Bennet since he didn't care about my vote in the Primary. He committed his superdelegate vote for Clinton before we voted, before his state went for Bernie.
My Congressman did the same, and his state and district went for Bernie. No green candidate on the ballot against him however. Only Republican and Libertarian. I will probably skip voting for a rep.
I'm in NY
Thanks for the info. I'm not sure if I can ever vote for a Democrat again, and in any case I'm all for voting against Schumer.
NY'er as well and
I have already tweeted both Senators and my House Rep that since they decided to back Killary early as a super-delegate they were never getting my vote again.
I am holding that line in the Senate.
Voting Green for US Senate
With no 3rd Party Option for House in my CD, this one really sucks.
Normally Tonko takes a progressive stance, unless it is a pork project for the district in which case I have seen him move more centrist.
I may vote for one Hill-shill
When I was a kid, Republicans used to red scare people, now it's the Democrats. I am getting too damn old for this crap!
Alas, we have to
wait six more years until Teachout kicks his ass. She, of course, being the second woman president in about 12 years.

I am still hoping for President Donna Edwards.
Dream on, I know. I guess she was a bit too much for the Dem Central Committee to stomach, so they sent her to outer Siberia.

I am considering a diary about Ms. Wilson at DK
just for the fun of seeing the killbots tie themselves into knots explaining why voting for this woman of color is an expression of privilege. My first impression, based on nothing but photos and what she says on the Green webpage, is quite favorable, but I don't know much about her. Not an elite background, and I imagine has punched a timeclock in her day.

I'd go back there to read that!
I've been out of there since the Ides of March Decree, but I'd go back there to read that! And tying themselves into knots explaining why voting for this woman of color is an expression of privilege? I dare predict that Denise Oliver Velez will make herself into a prime specimen of Celto-Viking knotwork doing just that! Predicting BBB is a little shakier ground, though.

Yay, a Green candidate I can vote for, beyond Stein!
I would like Schumer to be gone.
Hey! my dear friends or soon-to-be's, JtC could use the donations to keep this site functioning for those of us who can still see the life preserver or flotsam in the water.
I can even think of a better Schumer for NY Senator.
I can even think of a better Schumer for NY Senator. Replace Chuck with Amy Schumer. Everybody would be better off!
