Hillary: Do As I Say, Not As I Do

Hillary Clinton told staff not to use private email (but she could)

The Democratic presidential nominee admittedly sent and received thousands of emails on her personal email account, using a server at her suburban New York home while heading the State Department.

Yet early in her tenure she advised staffers against it.

"Clinton sent out an all-staff cable that personal email should not be used day-to-day for business purposes and that personal email is not secure, so do not use them for business purposes," according to an FBI report released as part of a 100-page document dump. "After Clinton's time as Secretary of State, there was also State guidance that if State employees had to use their personal email for business purposes they should send a carbon copy (Cc) to their ".gov" work email as well."

Then again, her attorneys wrote responses to Judicial Watch's interrogatories (see #18) that Hillary didn't actually write that email, it was just sent out under her name. They claim she was never aware of it.

Who knows how much of this is actually true, but funny/scary nonetheless.

The current working assumption appears to be that our Shroedinger's Cat system is still alive. But what if we all suspect it's not, and the real problem is we just can't bring ourselves to open the box?

Probably all of it! There are just too many reports from Secret Service and others in her close quarters that say the same things about her rantings and ravings. I certainly don't want her unhinged fingers anywhere near a nuclear launch button.

It would be a game changer if someone came forward with a video of one of these unhinged episodes.

if MSM actually broadcast it repeatedly. You know, like they did the Dean Scream? And the fix appears to be so "in", that would never happen, they're protecting her so.

I can't even put into words anymore how disgusting the entire situation with that woman being forced on us all makes me....

And what orders are they giving? Sounds like identity theft to me. /snark

Also sounds like somebody has a date with a bus undercarriage.

EDIT to add: If they can't come up with a name, it means that access to her account was/is uncontrolled.

Now interviewing signature candidates. Apply within.

I doubt anyone sent messages from her account without her knowledge. The notion that directives were being sent in her name to the department and she wasn't aware maybe exonerate her on the e-mails, but it surely would suggest she was a really terrible manager of the state department. Seriously? You were so out of touch with what your staff was doing that you had no idea what directives they were giving in your name via your e-mail? It's not believable. But either way, she's just pretty shitty at one thing or another.

which was made for Clinton to communicate with State staff (there were actually two accounts, one which was supposed to be her normal email which she never used, and one to send out stuff to staff). I think this was in an earlier release of FBI notes. I haven't read this set yet.

But I'll give you the link so you can take a look. Here's the essay I did on Sept 5.

What I summarized about this issue:

2) Although Clinton declined to use a State.gov account for herself, there was one which was used on her behalf:

Investigation identified the existence of two State-issued email accounts associated with Clinton, however, these accounts were used on Clinton's behalf and not by Clinton, herself.

Just because the FBI knows that now does not make it clear whether the Staff at State were aware of this arrangement. The account SMSGS@state.gov was used to send out messages from the Secretary's office to all State Department employees. This account could not receive emails. There was a second account used to to keep a Calendar for Clinton, but it neither sent nor received emails other than calendar invitations.

thought - optics tomorrow night

Just a thought … in the Miami speech, the diverse crowd behind HRC holding the little American flags was very cool – and at one point, a small U-S-A chant broke out …

Maybe something like this is already in works, but wonder if tomorrow night, we should be more purposeful about generating the U-S-A, U-S-A chants during her riff about the need for togetherness and unity (assuming that’s still part of the speech), with people holding the little American flags – since that’s what America is really about.

Would be a subtle, yet powerful, contrast to the angry white guy U-S-A chants at Trump events when he spews un-American hate talk

That, if it hadn't happened before, was the final cutting of the cord between me and the Dem party.

Your'e right. And how much of that is because we have, since time immemorial have had leaders that refuse to take responsibility for their actions? Not just political leaders either.
