a little about Courage Campaign from their extensive web site: a group any Progressive in Ca should be proud to have a free emails from.

Courage Campaign fights for a more progressive California and country. They are an online community powered by more than 1.3 million members.

Their proven strategy combines digital tools with grassroots community organizing. Every day, we use email, social media, petitions, offline events and data-driven outreach to educate public opinion, mobilize action, and hold our leaders accountable.

They focus on THREE priorities:

  • Economic Justice
  • Human Rights
  • Corporate and Political Accountability

Courage Campaign is not bound by election cycles or confined to issue areas. Courage Campaign does not endorse candidates. They are a permanent, independent, multi-issue campaign.

They primarily work in California, the largest and most diverse state in the nation, to create models for the country. Many of the propositions require reading the entire text of the proposal. These, even the beneficial ones, are often over-burdened with legalese. I received my official state publication which is the thickest I remember in 40 years. Many of the propositions are pretty simple--like recommend our elected officials to support ending the disastrous Citizen's United. But others, such as the Juvenile Justice Reforms and the two competing plastic bag initiatives would require careful reading. This brochure helped convince me about which of the two competitors I will support.

"Religion is what keeps the poor from murdering the rich."--Napoleon

I caught on to the Shillary of the CA Dem. His/her pitch was obvious from the get go.

Sorry CA... Hillary is not a progressive, nor are the surrogates tied to her coat tails.

Oh well, at least we aren't hindering free speech here as CA Democrat said that we were doing.
I'm waiting for an apology, but I'd settle for some type of commentary after this stuff is dumped on this site.
Isn't that the polite thing to do?
And if friends help friends vote for progressive candidates, why did so many of our friends not vote for Bernie? Smile

The current working assumption appears to be that our Shroedinger's Cat system is still alive. But what if we all suspect it's not, and the real problem is we just can't bring ourselves to open the box?

A useful diary would have provided a summary of the recommendations, or a way to get the info without submitting an email address.
