Jimmy Dore "I'm voting for Jill Stein" (video)

Jimmy officially endorses Jill Stein. Jimmy lays out the Green's platform and the case for voting 3rd party. And Shhhh! Do not tell Cenk Uygur! That gasbag will go ballistic.

Marc Van Landuyt (phone guest, Sanders delegate from California): "If Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton does not make you rethink the Two Party System, NOTHING WILL."

Length 6:44

Send your message to the Dems
Not mentioned in the video is the fact that your vote for Green Party sends a clear message to Democrats that you no longer trust them with their faux progressive talk. No conservative is going to vote Green, so the pathetic Dems will have to interpret growth in the Green Party as defecting, disillusioned Dem voters. Message sent and received.

I will not vote against Trump, neither will I vote against Hillary.

The only candidate for President on my ballot that I can vote FOR is Jill Stein. For me it is that simple.

I would like to vote (along with a lot of other people) for a progressive. I wonder: Will a significant fraction of the population vote for Jill Stein? I am a skeptic and suspect that the historical spiral into the abyss will continue.

The media does not cover people like Jill Stein. And the alternative media infrastructure is at a very low level of organization & resources, and can't get the word out to the people well enough for Stein to compete. And she has no access to the debates. A significant fraction of the population doesn't know who Stein is: ergo, a significant fraction of the population will not vote for Jill Stein.

I remember once, when I was about 11, we were on a road trip to Key West, when the radiator ran out of water. We took orange juice out of the cooler and poured it in and limped the remainder of the way to Key West & a mechanic.

OK, so, Jill Stein's radiator, through no fault of her own, is dry, and she's borrowed some kid's Juicy Juice by the side of the road and poured it in, and her car is moving slowly while Hill and Trump zoom by in their perfectly maintained cars--they have the best pit crews in the world at the ready at many points along the road, and they're kicking ass--or they *would* be, except that Hill keeps taking a pickaxe to her car's dash and has reduced quite a lot of it to bits and pieces, and her poor driver can't seem to get her to stop doing that. A minute ago, she also managed to rip one of the car doors off. She also likes to grab the wheel and drive straight at her own pit crew, laughing maniacally.

Trump's car is OK, and he's not attacking it like a maniac, but he's just not a very good driver, and he doesn't always seem to know which direction to go. You get the feeling he's the kind of guy who might drive The Wrong Way up a highway interchange, and then you get the feeling that maybe he's trying to throw the race, but it's hard to tell because throwing a race to someone attacking her own car with a pickaxe is hard, and requires some very odd and kooky behavior, and it's difficult to tell whether he's trying to throw the race or is just crazy.

Gary Johnson's car works, but it's not the car he says it is: he says it's a real racing car but it's actually just a kit. Hence, the car doesn't really behave as advertised. But it runs pretty well, better than Stein's, and he's not crazy.

My point is the problem isn't in the minds of the voters, or in their characters. Elections are not reflections of our moral or intellectual quality as a people, and they haven't been for some time--with the possible exception of 2008, which was allowed to stand as a genuine election because a Wall St/Deep State candidate was a good enough politician to trick the population into actually supporting him. That was a weird exception because being a Wall St candidate got Obama access to all the political machinery he could ever need--yet at the same time, he got scores of millions to genuinely believe in him. It was like an homage to actual elections.

The problem here is in infrastructure: cultural, political, economic. We don't have the resources we need. We don't do a lot to seek out alternatives, or invent them.

I can't believe the way Cenk has come out against those of us voting third party. I've stopped watching TYT for this reason.

I unsubscribed from TYT as soon as Cenk started trumpeting Her Heinous' greatness, before the primaries had even ended. He's nothing but a sellout, bloated by corporate cash and and unwarranted ego.

TYT Politics is still excellent, though, and it's a treat to see the backlash on the (very rare) occasions they crosspost one of Cenk's "Rah-Rah Hillary!" segments. No one wants to hear his bullshit and pandering.

Jordan Charitan was the last person over at TYT that I followed. That was until yesterday when he put out a Marcos Moulitsas style video calling critics of Cenk "impetuous children" and "conspiracy theorists" and suggested they just stop watching/reading. When commercial enterprises tell me my money/support isn't good enough for them, I listen.

Which makes me wonder if TYT doesn't deserve a little credit here (though I'm very unhappy with Cenk's cave-in to fear-mongering, which I don't has taken hold in the other staunch Bernie supporter Ana or John) for putting Jimmy Dore on for the debate. I've decided after the primary I will not watch any more political horse race stuff, and TYT was it for me.

After all, Dore has come out as one of most articulate, passionate and vociferous critics of HRC and resisters of the Big Trump Fear, in all of the media.

He'll forever be a hero to me for standing tall during this atrocious, fear-laden epoch.

Check out how far Thom Hartmann, a progressive hero to so may here Before The Fall, has gone to obstruct democracy. At first he goes into what appears to be a signature great rant on media lapdogs and how inexcusable their inattention to the issues are. To illustrate his point, he points just how much the candidates' platforms are out of touch with mainstream Americans. But get this. He did make sure to include Gary Johnson in his criticism. The elephant in the room is, he completely omits Jill Stein. Why? Because he'd sheepishly have to admit that her entire platform practically lines up with is. Couldn't criticize her honestly. So he can't do that. Democratic party shill. Thom, you are deeply, deeply, disappointing. Another guy I can't watch at all anymore.

BTW, the only way I find out about any of these shows or media hosts is because I subscribe to their YouTube channels and can pick and choose what I want to watch. For some reason I watched this clip yesterday.

Dore, on the other hand, I'll watch his clips almost daily.

Speaking of YouTube, are they now also collaborating with the Dems? Been bombarded with this pathetic GOTV called Register To Vote, which is now "Featured" in stand-out blue. Internal numbers must be showing lots of folks not committed to blindly voting Dem, no matter how threatening the Fear is.

is helping a so-called third party get 5% of the popular vote so that ballot access is easier in 2020. ANYthing that cuts into the disgusting duopoly is a great use of a vote.

That's my opinion, anyway.

Is the reaction I expect to get from some Hillbots for posting Jimmy Dore's video to Facebook.

"NADER!" will also be a repeated refrain.

I've been quiet long enough... Polite and calm long enough. Now I say, let them come at me. I have facts and reason to share in response. I don't expect the same in return (just spittle-spewing fear-mongering), but I'm not afraid of their bullshit today.

To resist Madam Secretary's seductive siren call, but in the end I just couldn't. It's difficult to say exactly why... perhaps, if I might, I can express it in verse.

Every ballot, every vote
Let the whole wide world take note
You're getting to be a habit with me

Let me stay within your box
I can't abide a boat that rocks
You're getting to be a habit with me

I used to think our precious duopoly
Was something I could take, or leave alone
But now I see that if you're not a 'Rat or a 'Pube
You might just as well stay home

I don't want to break away, and I'm fretting every day
It's so plain, why can't everyone else agree
You've got me in your clutches, please don't set me free
You're getting to be a habit with me
Oh, you're getting to be a habit with me
