I'm really glad that we don't get more then a few Democratic Clinton proselytizer's coming over here to convert us using fear the Trump. Far left my ass. It was interesting as I have not been there in months and even before that just followed links from here. Nasty place nasty people.

Psychopathy is not a political position, whether labeled 'conservatism', 'centrism' or 'left'.
A tin labeled 'coffee' may be a can of worms or pathology identified by a lack of empathy/willingness to harm others to achieve personal desires.
If he is doing it legally through loop holes created by our elected officials then he has done nothing wrong.
That's the point that gets left out of this. Hillary attacked him about his specific tax return but he is only one of many who use special credits, loop holes, tax rates, etc. that are created for these billionaires by our elected officials at our expense.
I too would be foolish not to claim my legal deductions.
The current working assumption appears to be that our Shroedinger's Cat system is still alive. But what if we all suspect it's not, and the real problem is we just can't bring ourselves to open the box?
If it were a legit donation she would have been out the money but had about $400,000 knocked off her tax bill (assuming a top rate of 39.6 %), so all told she would be out of pocket $600,000 for the donation.
But since she didn't actually give the money away, she keeps the million PLUS she gets the tax break. so instead of being out 600k she's up a total of 1.4 mil. - a $2 million swing the other way.
So in actuality she gets a twice as big a windfall as the $1 mil. cut in her tax bill claimed by the meme.

Why? Because every year he gets caught cheating. Then the IRS issues a finding and a bill for taxes due. Then Trump sends in an army of lawyers, overwhelming the underfunded IRS. Then Trump gets friendly, well-paid Congresscritters to write nasty letters to the IRS, threatening investigations. Then the IRS settles for pennies on the dollar.

Common Dreams summarizes the debate fairly well, I think. Trump doesn't freak me out as perhaps he does many others. He's obnoxious, the Tea Party loves him as they did Ted Cruz. Clinton should be thankful Cruz isn't her opponent.

i don't think Trump is illegally paying no taxes, the problem is he espouses tax cuts for Wealthy and wealthy corporations who pay little to no tax as a means to boost the economy, problem is they can only use so many tax cuts, thus how will this boost the economy? Unless we go back to the 80s when corps were allowed to barter their tax credits amongst each other I don't see any economic benefit.
Hillary is not proposing the trickle down economics as Trump. I think that is clear. With that said it certainly doesn't mean she won't enrich the rich in many other ways, because she has to win a 2nd term to be considered a successful president and of course that requires money (due to her anti progressive politics) from the wealthy.
Continued to HR'd anything we wrote about Hillary that showed her in a bad light and told us that we weren't wanted there so we left and I haven't seen anyone from here gone back there to take dumps in their diaries.
Yet quite a few DK members come here to take a dump on this site.
How childish.
That's just not true, I defend Stein at Dkos. I have actually read essays here bragging on dumping onto DKos which I have no problem with.
Why is it so awful for you to read a anti trump essay from time to time?
Our government has legal loopholes that allow people like him to do that. the Clintons certainly didn't try changing that last time they were in office. Why would they this time?
If I paid taxes, I would do everything I could to avoid paying them. Not because I don't want to fund good causes, but because I know that my tax money would be used to pay for another batch of dead civilians in some foreign country.
We are being taxed without representation. Trump (and hundreds of other multi-billionaires) are being represented with no taxation.
why pay taxes when you can find elite loopholes? Why pay taxes when it is just going to be squandered for shit like wars and drones? Why pay taxes when most corporations in America don't. Why pay taxes when my boss pays less in taxes than I do as an employee?
Why pay taxes when the Clintons can cheat humanity.

Of course $1 million in charitable contributions
Of course $1 million in charitable contributions does not get you a $1 million tax credit. Only a deduction that reduces your taxable income.

We dont care
about Trump's taxes ! However I think hillary's emails and or the transcripts from her speeches might generate some interest.
totally agree that Trump is no good!
that's why I'm going to vote for someone else, who happens to be a woman, this election!

I think you know: Trump never said that.
If you have to pretend he said something he never said to make your point, maybe it's not actually a point at all?
BTW, Do you knowingly pay more taxes than the law says you owe? Or do you take advantage of every deduction, etc. the law affords you?
Hint: I'll believe a yes answer only to the second question.
