The Onion is one of the most beloved publications on the internet. For years, their hilariously gut-wrenching satirical headlines have perfectly encapsulated America’s hypocrisies with unflinching, often brutal honesty. Earlier this year, Univision bought a 40% controlling interest in the company, which includes the right to buy the site, as well as ownership over the sister satire site, Clickhole.
The Intercept points out an interesting fact: one of Hillary Clinton’s biggest supporters and financial backers is Univision co-owner and chairman Haim Saban. Conflict of interest? Let’s do a bit of comparison.
Consider this pre-acquisition headline: “Hillary Clinton To Nation: ‘Do Not Fuck This Up For Me.” And now, this post-acquisition headline: “Female Presidential Candidate Who Was United States Senator, Secretary Of State Told To Be More Inspiring.”
And incidentally, Saban has been brazen about his political meddling in the Democratic Party. According to The Intercept, he has openly stated the three ways to manipulate American politics are political donations, think tanks, and controlling media outlets. Check, check, and check.
The current working assumption appears to be that our Shroedinger's Cat system is still alive. But what if we all suspect it's not, and the real problem is we just can't bring ourselves to open the box?
Clearly they don't have any real computer experts inside their bubble. I am starting to feel sorry for them. I may volunteer to manage their technology...naahhh!
to be aware that emailing or mailing a code is stupid. How many if asked would email the pin for their debit/credit card to a group of people?
For people who are so proud of their education for which they "deserve" special treatment, they are not very bright.

Oregon's page is about worthless too. The first thing posted is a meeting from 2015. Come on lets get together and support this alternative to the duopoly. I mean with what's going down in election farce the time is ripe. Can the geeks contact the Greens? How could we go about funneling techie help and money on a local grassroots level? Sure I'll donate I'm a desperate liberal political junkie but it sure seems to me they need to be open to accommodate the influx of people who are looking for an alternative party that is willing to use the discontent and resistance to what is turning out to an blatant mockery of the democratic process.
Why haven't we seen hacks of the GOP servers? Where are all the Trump email hacks? Must be some juicy stuff in there somewhere...
Or maybe they do all their communication by carrier pigeon, and keep their accounts on clay tablets.

There has been some talk that the DNC hack was really an insider providing Wikileaks with the email and other files. It could be the case that nobody inside the RNC has leaked anything along with fact nobody has even tried to hack them, or if they did, they are not looking to give anybody an advantage but to gain insider information which would only be useful to the hacker.
Of course, I may be over-estimating how much people really know about computers on a network as the world has moved so heavily into mobile computing. Powell in one of his Hillary bashing emails wondered if Hillary knew what a server does.
But that being said, we have this email with the password, and yet this same group is able to find out that one of Bernie's staffers was looking at Hillary's database of supporters. They have the smarts to work the scam of rich donors contributing to state Dems which then gets laundered back to the DNC and Hillary.
We have those crafty Russians able to hack into your alarm clock, but leave Cyrillic files on the DNC server.
Is there a conspiracy theory out there just for the fun of it??

underaged girls? Actually it wasn't sex, it was statutory rape which can carry a sentence up to 20 years.
He only was sentenced to 13 months in prison if he promised not to name the other people who were had either participated in the rape or knew about it.
Bill Clinton would ditch his SS detail so that he could fly on Epstein's plane to his private island and there would be underaged girls there and other women for those people to have sex with.
The plane had a bedroom in it and Epstein and others had sex with those girls and women.
So I assume that Bill knew that Epstein was raping those girls yet he never said anything about it but r turned him into the authorities.
If my spouse had done that, I would be divorced so soon that heads would spin.
13 months?!!! At least he has to register as a sex offender.

The Bernie staffer thing could just be an alarm built into a turnkey system. You get a notification every time a new user accesses a set of data. The staffer wasn't recognized by the person getting the alert and they responded appropriately.
Email passwords are usually not set by IT but by users themselves, and it's hard to set up automated policies that prevent people from emailing them around. I noticed that the password itself was tolerably strong, so something was enforcing that, but enforcing email content is up to users, who may well be clueless.

absolutely terrifying. She's unfit to govern because she is a mad person. Oh yeah she's a woman and old so let's not talk about how she's unfit to hold office otherwise blab, blab, blab what ever PC notion comes up when you express how Mad this Bomber is. That photo captures exactly how mad she is and yet it's somehow sexist or something to attack her personally. Well shit are we all not responsible for what we advocate and accept? Why is she exempt cause she is woman. how insane to get all tweaked and bogged down with all this bs. about how we are not allowed to attack her personally as she is woman. Hey the fact she is a woman only pisses me off more. She's just another global psycho killer who has power and is so sick it matters not whether it's pathological or a disease of the spirit. Ask me it's both and the sickness she suffers from is not just pathological.
According to my father, who called me right after he saw it during the Democratic convention, it is something he's seen before. And it's not good.
My dad and mom, both now in their late 80's but sharp as razors, cared for my grandmother when she became unable to do so. They lived in the same house. Grandmother developed Parkinson's Disease. My father has been trying to tell me for several months that he feels sure that Hillary has it, and it is getting worse rapidly. He has sent me a few things to watch, but I mostly blew them off as most were coming from known right-wing sites, etc. I did think something was a bit odd, though.
Then this past Sunday, Hillary collapsed at the Ground Zero affair with at least three cameras rolling to film it. At least one is very high definition video and quite clear. We've all seen it. I called my father about it. He said, "This is exactly what I've been trying to tell you about." He described Hillary's manor and the type of "freeze" as almost identical to what afflicted my grandmother before she passed.
Dad is not a doctor, but here a video made by a doctor who is pretty much saying what my parents are saying (This video has been referenced here on c99 at least once in the last couple of days):
This doctor is obviously no friend of the Clintons, but manages to largely keep politics out of his video -- not totally, though. It runs a little under ten minutes. I found the information the doctor related matched much of what my father has been saying regarding my grandmother when she suffered from Parkinson's.
