Hillary Clinton personally delivers big boost to Wasserman Schultz
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton declared her enthusiastic support Tuesday for U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, detouring her campaign to personally deliver her seal of approval.
"I'm here today with a very simple message: I can't think of anyone who [more] deserves your support for re-election, starting with the primary on August 30th, than my friend Debbie. And I am committed to doing whatever I can to support her as she returns to the Congress with your support," Clinton told about 50 people at Wasserman Schultz's campaign headquarters in Davie. "Please do everything you can to make sure Debbie has a resounding victory on August 30th."
Clinton's stop at Wasserman Schultz's campaign office came at the end a two-day campaign swing through Florida — and three weeks to the day before Wasserman Schultz faces the first-ever primary challenge of her congressional career.

Wasserman Schultz, who was a national Clinton campaign co-chairwoman during the 2008 presidential primary season, repeatedly asserted her neutrality during the 2016 primaries. Late last month, hacked Democratic National Committee emails published by WikiLeaks showed some national party staffers favored Clinton over Sanders while the primaries were still going on.
Wasserman Schultz resigned the DNC post, effective at the end of the July presidential nominating convention in Philadelphia — something she said wasn't an indication of wrongdoing, but rather an attempt to avoid distracting from Clinton's message.

Little Debbie doesn't have to worry. Even if she loses, she wins. Shillary will find a nice spot in her administration where she'll continue to push the neo-liberal agenda.

Ha! In the 1950s and 60s,
my state, West "by God" Virginia, had a power broker whose fingers where in a lot of pies. Politicians would sometimes ask him for his support. I'm not sure whether it was original, even back then, but his standard reply was "I'll come out for you or against you, whichever will do you the most good."
As you suggest, let's hope the endorsement of Her Royal Heinous hurts Ms. Debbie Whatshername Schultz.

If you're such a terrible representative that you
need to run toward the most unfavorable Democratic nominee in history, then maybe you shouldn't be in office.
I hope DWS is crushed politically in the primary.
Maybe that'll put some more fear into the Dem campaign. Wouldn't it be interesting if by November, both D and R nominees have everyone down ballot running from them?

Reminds me of a job I had once...
I used to work for a tree trimming company.
One time we were contracted to take down this old tree that looked solid enough on a property, but was long dead.
So we cut through, and the Tree falls to the ground, and SHATTERS like glass.
and several million ants pour out of this thing. The entire tree was rotten to the core and nobody could see it until one good shake revealed the truth.
The Dems can try all they want, with all the media duct tape they can muster... But they ain't gonna EVER get that fucker back together again.
