Democracy Lost:
A Report on the Fatally Flawed 2016 Democratic Primaries
from Election Justice USA, ElectionJusticeUSA.org
A. ABOUT ELECTION JUSTICE USA
Election Justice USA (EJUSA) is a national, non-partisan team of seasoned election integrity experts, attorneys, statisticians, journalists, and activists. The circumstances surrounding Arizona’s presidential primary on March 22nd, 2016—widely acknowledged as one of the most disastrous election days in recent memory—were the lightning rod that catalyzed the formation of EJUSA. Throughout the course of the 2016 presidential primary season, EJUSA has emerged as a leader in the fight for honest elections, pursuing legal action in several states in an attempt to counteract specific forms of targeted voter suppression and election fraud.
This report summarizes the work of the Election Justice USA forensics and legal teams during this period. EJUSA is working not only to expose the voter suppression and election fraud taking place during the 2016 presidential primaries, but to build a mass movement calling for three simple, affordable reforms that will render direct fraud and suppression impossible, safeguarding US elections for future candidates.

The following is from the last page of the entire report:
A. CONCLUSIONS
We have aimed to provide an overview of the evidence for various types of fraud and targeted voter suppression impacting the outcomes of the 2016 Democratic presidential primaries. After covering the legal background and the history of Election Justice USA’s legal actions, our best efforts to combat election fraud and voter suppression, we gave a thorough treatment of:
1) Targeted voter suppression
2) Registration tampering
3) Illegal voter purges
4) Exit polling discrepancies
5) Evidence for voting machine tampering
6) The security (or lack thereof) of various voting machine types
Finally, we gave a date-by-date, state-by-state overview of each of these fraud or suppression types at work throughout the course of the 2016 Democratic presidential primaries. Based on this work, Election Justice USA has established an upper estimate of 184 pledged delegates lost by Senator Bernie Sanders as a consequence of specific irregularities and instances of fraud. Adding these delegates to Senator Sanders’ pledged delegate total and subtracting the same number from Hillary Clinton’s total would more than erase the 359 pledged delegate gap between the two candidates.

This is how Elections get won, in America, in 2016,
by the Party of the People.
Suppression, tampering, purges, discrepancies, rigging, provisional balloting ...
and just plain treating Our Votes like their birth-rights.
"The Ends justify the Means" ... right?
"All's fair in Politics and War" ... right?
But when and where does that irrationality end?
I pray to Zeus, Clinton's 4th-quarter conversion to strongly supporting a Progress Platform is Real,
But if her track record on being truthful and trustworthy be any Guide,
Progressives will have 4-more-years of Obama-Disillusionment to deal with,
after the Congressional compromises get cut. (AND Corporatist Reality kicks in again.)
Will Corporations and the Wealthy really end up paying "their fair share" under Her Watch?
Did that happen under Obama?
And there we have it -- we have their pragmatic track record
to suppress, tamper, purge, disparage, and re-claim our Progressive Goals and Dreams -- as their foils.
It's what neocons do -- it's how "the cake gets baked."
Welcome to post-revolution 'Morning in America'.
If you can't beat em ... they expect us to join em.
Were all in this "together" afterall ... Resistance is Futile ...
This is how Elections get won in 2016, in the Land where true Democracy is only "Provisional" ...

The only problem being that the Voting Rights Division
of the Obama Justice Department or possibly the Hillary Clinton Justice Department would be responsible for any investigation and prosecution of any wrong-doing. The batter will never make it into the pan and the oven will never be turned on. The chances of any cake being baked are slim to none.
edit - apologies for the negativity. It shouldn't be the way I described.

The Media would have to care
about such insider-DNC conceived Election-recipes.
And obviously they don't -- beyond the one or two day "political gossip" story value.
But the issues behind such blatant disenfranchisement, demand more scrutiny than they probably ever get.
I cheer on, Election Justice USA for doing the hard work of exposing How our System gets Rigged.
But others have tried in the past to do the same,
to little long-lasting effect.
Such is our {cough} Democracy in American -- just ask any Independent in California,
about how much their Votes really "counted".
In a word, they didn't. ... Same for NY Independents too.
-- No Votes [that get counted] for you!
We need UN election observers
It's too late for 2016. But going forward...
that's a great idea
I wonder if Jimmy Carter still has the "stature"
to make something like that happen.
I sent the Carter Center an email and asked them
to at least do exit polls when it was announced there wouldn't be anymore exit polls conducted. I never even got a response.
I posted that report here, but I didn't do it justice. Thanks for bringing the story into the light again.

thanks dkmich
for the activism
and the feedback.
These irregularities deserve the light of day.
Is it too late for the General?
Seems to me that there's enough there to have the U.N. do something extraordinary, especially since the DOJ have removed federal observers from the process.

I guess it's possible that class action civil suits could be
filed? I think I read that some were being filed in Arizona, but not sure. Or it is may be possible to find some state AG willing to investigate any state law violations, but that would happen only if the citizens themselves kicked up enough of a ruckus.

IF we had a legal path to pursue, we could do a
Go Fund Me to raise the money to do it right. If we had half as much money going into a legal fund as we had going to Bernie, we could do this up right.

we tried in AZ
we lost, got kicked out by the court.
Thousands of people disenfranchised and all we got was a sham public "hearing" that didn't change anything.

good stuff at the other blog. I was Agathena over there.

I just couldn't stomach
the smaller and smaller "Free Speech Zones" over at TOP
any more.
The hosts over here haven't forgotten
the purpose of this social media.
It's a world of difference.
I am glad you are here too.
It was quite liberating to leave. Ending my addiction to the place was exhilarating. I have seen many refugees react giddily to the safe expression of speech that c99 allows and that they were denied for so long at top.

appreciate that.
Sorry to continue in negative mode, but the UN!?!?!?
How could we be embarrassed by UN scrutiny and sanctions? We would just terminate the lease on the UN building. Such is hubris.
Hey! my dear friends or soon-to-be's, JtC could use the donations to keep this site functioning for those of us who can still see the life preserver or flotsam in the water.
someone
needs to "referee" our Elections.
Maybe FoxNews could do it.
Maybe the People could.
Maybe the Politicians?
How would that play out on the world stage?
Half the time, the U.S. is late paying their member nation dues. Maybe they should kick us out?
