Mainstream Media is in Full Damage Control Mode for the "Anointed One" following her Coronation Tuesday Night struggling to keep the numbers in the 3 digit range downplaying the Walkout of the Bernie Sanders Delegates and Supporters from Decorruption Party Convention in Philly. The lights in the Wells Fargo Center down low attempting to hide the massive number of empty seats from the media audiences...

The current working assumption appears to be that our Shroedinger's Cat system is still alive. But what if we all suspect it's not, and the real problem is we just can't bring ourselves to open the box?

Bernie was/is not a savior. I was willing to support with money and effort while I felt he was standing against the oligarchy. He decided to join them (even superficially), and I have no obligation to fall in line.
I hope that every one of those delegates who walked out go back to their hometowns and start alternative systems in their communities: housing coops, energy coops, free stores and pay-what-you-can restaurants, waste reduction and recycling programs, community feeding programs, alternative schools and health care, locally owned credit unions, community wellness and mediation groups instead of state-sanctioned policing, etc., etc.
Running for local political office is fine, if people want to do that, but I think the most effective way to fight capitalism and imperialism is to disengage. Use cash or barter wherever possible, minimize our impact on the planet, support each other, especially the most marginalized and oppressed, with compassion, and resist, resist, resist the seduction of never-ending consumerism.
