It's one thing for Bernie to endorse Hillary, but it is unconscionable that he's working with the Clinton campaign as we speak to shut his supporters up.
He's got "ambassadors" on the coronation floor now trying to make sure his delegates don't boo when Hillary's name is mentioned.
He's jumped the shark. He wanted his delegates to come to Philly to vote for him (at great cost on their own ), but now he's trying to shut them up.
Nina Turner, who was just interviewed, isn't throwing them under the bus. Good for her.
If you want a political revolution, you can't then just say, "Be quiet. "

I'm not suspicious of you, but of the DNC and the Clinton

Someone said that if, between now and November, Hillary

No, he really is endorsing her. He really is abandoning his purported principles to do so. I am now wondering if his campaigning wasn't meant to keep progressives within the democratic fold and to stop them from creating a third party.

If that was the plan, it has failed spectacularly! I have been a Dem for decades and there's a better than even chance that I'll go Green.
Bernie's campaign exposed the machinations of Hill and her cronies. The smears have been sickening. He and we fought hard, which showed how far they will go to push back, keeping power for power's sake.
Whether Bern knows something we don't or is just tired, I don't know at this point. But no, I don't see how it could have been a plan to keep progressives in the Dem party. That would only happen by giving Bern the nom. Also, if they were going to do that, they would have picked a more physically attractive candidate, younger, more groomed. O'Malley maybe. I think Bernie's popularity shocked them.

I'll bet Bernie has a plan and is staying in for a darned good reason. And that won't be to help place corruption in office.
Some of the people posting here clearly have little actual knowledge of Bernie or of what he's pulled off in apparently impossible situations for the people in the past, and so they underestimate him. But I'll bet corporate team Clinton is very nervous.

If Bernie has a plan, then he has also foreseen and built into
said plan the (momentary, in this phase of developments) rejection and revilement of his course by the movement he started.
In other words, if he is playing a part in accordance with a farsighted plan, then the whole “condemning Bernie as a sellout” phenomenon is also a part which enough of us must play if his plan is to be realized.
If Bernie is indeed acting in accord with some kind of Hari Seldon gambit here, then condemnation as a sellout at this stage doesn’t hurt his feelings at all — on the contrary, it’s something his plan expects and is counting on.

Nevertheless, the saying, whithersoever it came, applies here. Bernie has now discovered that he has indeed "awakened a sleeping giant and filled him with a terrible resolve", and that his selling out to Hillary Clinton and Company has deprived him of any control over that giant. No matter what Barney Frank, Sarah Silverman, or anyone else says, we're still here, we're awake and we're pissed, and we're not going to eat their proffered caca sandwiches any more, even if Bernie himself does so on national TV.

Should Trump and Clinton be neck-and-neck come election day, Donald's getting my vote, but Jill will get my support for 2020. Jill can't get enough (name recognition, organizational structure, money, or state ballot slots) by November to prevail. That's just magical thinking. But by 2020, it's very feasible. In the next four years, however, if the Clintons (it's a two-fer deal) get back to the White House, we'll NEVER be free of them. Always being in a position of power to grant favors for cash is their meal ticket and they've got very powerful "friends". Trump, on the other hand, will be a lesser-evil placeholder for Jill in 2020.
The real problem is that the middle class was created
in order to have a large block of people who would reliably vote against the interests of the poor and working classes.
Now that global capital doesn't need them, we see the twisted face of the political establishment as it firmly throws them, along with the working classes, to the sharks.
Personal freedom and meaningful culture are long, long gone. Until Europe and North America wake up and bring global capital to its knees, we will be murdered, you and me and everyone else. Slowly. And no one in this big universe is going to care and there will be no cheap Hollywood salvation. None.
