He never said she was flat out innocent of gross negligence. In efect he said only that they had insufficient evidence to recommend to DOJ the case was worth filing under a beyond a reasonable doubt standard for a criminal prosecution under the espionage act.

Hard to believe what I'm watching. I suspect that TPTB expected this to somehow exonerate Hillary in the public eye, but nothing could be further from reality. This is devastating for Hillary. One ting you can be assured of while watching this, is that this issue is not going away when Comey walks out of this hearing. This is going to continue for years, or at least until Hillary steps down as a candidate for president and probably not even then.
As I watch this, the thought is going through the back of my mind wondering if this whole thing wasn't some 11th dimensional chess thing to force Hillary to step down. It certainly provides no benefit to her. The optics couldn't possibly be worse!

Near the 4 min. mark, he mentions something that seems to get lost in all the discussions. Hillary kept that server for 2 years (is that 2 years after leaving State?), and only turned over the emails because Gowdy et al. found out about the server during the Benghazi hearings. She was just keeping them and no one knew about them.
That's correct! The only reason we know about that server was because of the Benghazi investigation. And, Hillary tried for a long time to keep from releasing it. It took months after discovering it's existence before the FBI was finally able to get it from her attorneys. By the time they finally got, Hillary's private emails were deleted, the ones for the State Department were transferred to and submitted to the FBI on thumb drives, the hard drive was wiped as to preclude any forensic recovery to be done on it and just before it was handed over to the FBI, Hillary "wiped it with a cloth".
But there is absolutely no indict her because nothing she did showed any form of intent!

Hard to believe what I'm watching. I suspect that TPTB expected this to somehow exonerate Hillary in the public eye, but nothing could be further from reality. This is devastating for Hillary. One ting you can be assured of while watching this, is that this issue is not going away when Comey walks out of this hearing. This is going to continue for years, or at least until Hillary steps down as a candidate for president and probably not even then.

Near the 4 min. mark, he mentions something that seems to get lost in all the discussions. Hillary kept that server for 2 years (is that 2 years after leaving State?), and only turned over the emails because Gowdy et al. found out about the server during the Benghazi hearings. She was just keeping them and no one knew about them.

That's correct! The only reason we know about that server was because of the Benghazi investigation. And, Hillary tried for a long time to keep from releasing it. It took months after discovering it's existence before the FBI was finally able to get it from her attorneys. By the time they finally got, Hillary's private emails were deleted, the ones for the State Department were transferred to and submitted to the FBI on thumb drives, the hard drive was wiped as to preclude any forensic recovery to be done on it and just before it was handed over to the FBI, Hillary "wiped it with a cloth".
But there is absolutely no indict her because nothing she did showed any form of intent!

I have often wondered about how to still have the proofs in digital format for the archives and the public without having the effect that all politicians knowing they perform for the public and start staging themselves.
May be if all those files would be available to the public with a certain delay so that what they say is available only after a couple of weeks, after the journalists have may be written about those hearings and raised some ruckus. I really am at a loss here. All I know is that any person who is on camera would say something differently if they were not. I think it's a humane reaction of a person to try to represent him/herself in the best way possible.

Now I'm watching YouTube vids of Fox News, Bill O'Reilly, Rudi Giuliani interviews, and eating up every word of former Republican federal prosecutors. I also am here and watch TYT, Debbie the sane progressive, Michael Trimm, and H.A. Goodman videos. I'm scared.

She points out that the standard of one of the statutes is not whether or not a person knows what they are doing is ILLEGAL, but if they knowingly remove such documents without authority at an unauthorized location... she appears to be suggesting that the attorneys is an unauthorized location.
She asked Comey if he has confidence that NONE of the emails destroyed were marked classified and he said he did not have confidence.
