Hillary campaign at crisis point - why no press conference?

This is a pretty simple question.
The US, the media and the upcoming election have been thrown into turmoil due to the press conference of the FBI leader James Comey, who pretty much made the case that every defense HRC has raised about her her email use are, to put it mildly, not correct.
So where is the presumptive nominee to answer the questions of the press and public about the issues that have been raised? This is an early test of her Presidency. Why is she not front and center defending and answering for her actions?
It has been months and months since she has entertained an unfettered press opportunity - is this how she will run her administration?

Suggest that IF there is a Press Conference, it will be before a very small, select audience, AFTER many focus groups deciding what questions will be allowed, and how they should be answered. She will open comments reading from a teleprompter.

She got away with criminal acts. Her followers are dancing in the end zone. Bernie is getting booed. The MSM is not exactly calling for her to drop out, and she is raising money daily.

That graphic that Trump posted saying Clinton was the "most corrupt candidate ever"? The campaign was blasted out of the water because the clip art behind the words was "anti-semetic" (just like Bernie was "misogynist" for ... whatever it was, running a campaign?). Republicans fall over each other to denounce the clip art. The media managed to talk about it for days without ever mentioning "corruption".

No press conferences for months... why subject herself to debates? She obviously doesn't feel the public deserves any of her time.
Debating Trump would be a terrible risk. He has shown he can take anyone down. I can see her saying Trump isn't serious or qualified enough for her to even waste her time debating. Just dismiss the entire idea of debates.

I doubt Hillary could debate Bernie and win
Her policies are not really popular, and her ability to think on her feet seems to have left her a few years ago.
I think we have a presumptive candidate who is profoundly crippled mentally and physically; she seems like a shell of her former self, dragging her body along by will power alone. If elected, I believe she will be a figurehead for the American ruling corporatist entity, a spokeswoman for it, if you will, not the leader of it.

No way, no how and I doubt many Bernie believers will as well. I will vote for Jill Stein unless Bernie is on the ticket and if that makes Trump president then so be it.

If Hillary is the Dem nominee, I will never in a million years vote for her.
First of all, I will be changing my party registration to the Green Party, and second, I will be voting for the Green candidate, who will most probably be Jill Stein.
