Deadlines, State Coordinator Contact Info, and Facebook pages for Green Party/Jill Stein Ballot Access Drives

I thought I would try to make some of the Green Party/Jill Stein's ballot access drives info more accessible. I have listed the deadlines for 27 states being pursued, and provided links to webpages that contain email addresses of state coordinators for ballot drives and contain Facebook page links.

The Green Party is currently pursuing signatures for ballot access in 27 states. The main webpage for this information is http://www.jill2016.com/ballot_access. At the state links below, email addresses are provided for state coordinators for 23 of the states. North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming are currently hiring (anyone need a job?). Alabama's coordinator provides a mailing address only, but there is a Facebook page. Every state has some sort of Facebook page.

A new CNN poll has Jill Stein at 7%. Including 10% among younger voters. And 8% among "nonwhite" voters.

I won't get a chance to vote for her.

At least I think so. I'll go dig around and see what I can find.

Though, we use machines in the tiny little polling station I vote at, so it's completely rigged anyway. Trump (or whomever is the Republican candidate) will likely get my vote regardless of whom I actually click.

I am amazed WV has the Green Party on the ballot. My vote and my household may have a effect to see registered Dems vote Green!

So long, and thanks for all the fish

I have been truly worried about voting for Trump!
That is just how strongly I feel about keeping the Clintons out of the White House.
No matter that Stein gives me an out, I would happily cast my vote for a progressive of any party affiliation.
If Bernie is out, for me, Stein is in.

Jill did an interview this morning on a local Boston TV station which can be viewed here.

Also recommend subscribing to her Twitter feed. She tweets quite frequently, and always has pithy and insightful things to say regarding the news of the day and the issues of concern to all of us.

I was told yesterday that they got the necessary signatures to get on the ballot in Washington State.

please go to the website, get the info to get started, and get some signatures. They need help NOW!

Jill's site recommends going to Gay Pride festivities and gathering signatures, but if you aren't near such a celebration, other signatures are good, too. Find your nearest district leader and keep in touch because you need to get the signatures in.

Okay?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think you can't sign a petition for another party if you voted in the Democratic Primary.

I've seen lots of changes. What doesn't change is people. Same old hairless apes.

Are there any lawyers or former third party activists can address this? It makes no sense to me. I know that Delaware has a weird rule that you have to register unregistered voters, but that is it.

I checked the links for CT. They don't list any locations you can drive to to sign the petition. No progress bar to see how many sigs are still needed. I assume registering with the Greens is not sufficient to serve as a petition signature.

The CT Green Party appears to be pursuing signatures. First, I went to https://www.facebook.com/GreenPartyofConnecticut/?ref=br_rs, which is listed on the link I provided above for CT. Here is the second post,
"Connecticut for Jill Stein shared Jill Stein's post. Yesterday at 7:26am ·

We need 5,000 verified signatures* of registered CT voters by August 10th in order to have Jill appear on our ballot in November. Please contact the Green Party of Connecticut to find out how to sign and how you can help collect signatures. If just 250 people collect 20 signatures each, we'll have met our goal! This is very achievable.
‪#‎ItsInOurHands‬ ‪#‎BallotAccess‬ ‪#‎GetJillOnTheBallot‬
*People who sign DO NOT have to vote for or even support Jill - they are simply signing so she can appear on the ballot.

So, I went to the Green Party of Connecticut website, http://www.ctgreenparty.org/, and at the top is this:
"JOIN THE GREEN COMMITTEE OF ONE HUNDRED TODAY! We have just started this important committee to get Jill Stein on the ballot in CT. Call Mike DeRosa at 888-877-8607 or email David Bedell at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and pledge that you will collect and hand in 100 signatures before August 10.
We have had close to 20 people commit to the Green Committee of One Hundred. Why not call or send an e-mail and we will send you the necessary petitions and instructions.
Also, we are forming groups in Stamford, New Haven, Hartford, Norwich, New London, Windham, and Waterford that will be going to food markets that have given us permission to petition 10 days a month. Please contact us if you can give us an hour or so."

If you do a little digging you will find a lot of activity and contact info.
