The elk (?) attack is wonderful.
And the dirty bison, etc, match my terrier-ist. I could vacuum all day long, but it pisses off the dog. Safe travels home. Pets waiting? Or is pet a not good word now, animal companion and maybe guardian better?
Hey! my dear friends or soon-to-be's, JtC could use the donations to keep this site functioning for those of us who can still see the life preserver or flotsam in the water.
Maybe big horn sheep
Or some type of goat?
Have you tried benedryl for your dog's car sickness? It helped mine when I had to travel far, plus it's has sedative effects so she was more calm and sleepy
She missed the pre-doggie lecture about how dogs love to go for rides in the car.
Charlie my beagle sits with her nose out the window.

Meclizine is what my vet suggested.
A non-drowzy human med, 1/2 tab. Good for a day. I have some, put her on a test-drive (not in car) to see how it went. Good, but for obedience lessons I felt like a drugged pup was stupid. She can't see out the car window, yet. Gone dog could, but preferred napping, arousals at motorcycles passing.

evening riverlover...
those are bighorn sheep butting heads. it was really quite unexpected, they were running around up and down the slope next to the road and suddenly they just squared off and went for each other. it made an amazing noise that is kind of indescribable. then after all of that, they just went back to the business of running around looking for food in each other's company.
the granddogs await. i'll probably see them tomorrow and tell them tales of giant beasts that they would have wanted to chase but would have come out somewhat the worse for wear if they did.
Better not tell them of the big ones
who got away. My terrier pup in full pup-mode still frights at leaves, perhaps garter snakes, bumble bees, ANTS. I do not want her to see coyote or bear. Drive safely!

Hey, Joe & Bluesters! Quick drive-by to
say 'hi,' and thanks for tonight's EB.
(We've got 7 states to travel on business in the next weeks, and as our luck would have it, most of west--and super hot!)
It's getting so bad, we're doing a lot of night travel, something which we normally eschew. Thank goodness for Wi-Fi, and satellite radio.
Still, no 'news' tonight--too hot to care!
Safe travels . . .

evening mollie...
i hope that your travels go well. everywhere i went out west in the higher elevations was quite cool, dry and pleasant for the most part. the lower elevations were hot but dry, not at all like here in the east. the highest temperature that i was in was about 108 and it felt like a convection oven, the lowest temperature was 38 in sequoia national park where it was sleeting, it was probably somewhere between 8 and 10,000 feet there.
Hi Joe, the attacking two big horn sheep remind me
of some big ego sheep attacks on C99p. One more horny than the other.
Oh, I am the fool

that's what it is.

I have counted 4 attacks about c99
In various diaries at DK today and they all came from the most dickish of Hillary's supporters.
And there's another diary cheering about another republican endorsing Hillary.
This one is about Hank Paulson, the guy from Obama's cat food commission? Can you f*cking believe that they are happy that Hillary got an endorsement from a person who wants to cut social security?
A few days ago, they were cheering about a neocon military officer endorsing her, and he helped write up PNAC!
These people are friggin nuts.
Robert Kagan is already advising her on foreign policy, another PNAC guy, and they don't have a problem with that. Or that Charles Koch is going to endorse her too.
And no problem with Kagan's wife Nuland being floated as SOS.
As Keith used to say, "those people are idiots".
Apparently holocaust denial is not an issue anymore. Lots of people are denying the one in Gaza with absolutely no repercussions.
evening snoopy...
hank paulson was secretary of the treasury under bush the younger and former ceo of goldman sachs. i guess it's not a big surprise that he's hot to endorse hillary given the clintons' close relationship with goldman sachs.
as far as i am aware he was not a member of the catfood commission, though i would not be surprised if he shared the peterson gang's views.
Hillary has so many endorsement from Neocons...
...it makes my head swim. You ask a great question snoopy..., what are those folks from 'top' doing when they cheer what is most likely to be 'the next war' and the next economic collapse? Death and austerity here we come!
What a tragedy !
evening mimi...
heh, i drove thousands of miles to observe animal behavior and now you're telling me i could have just stayed home and watched the pixels?
oh well, i guess i have a lot to look forward to.
nah, don't look forward, look backwards, so much nicer :-)
and don't listen to fools ... /nt

heh...
The folks running for office here,...
...for the most part, are much wilder animals than those natural guys out there in nature.
