That he's not addressing election ballot-counting fraud and disenfranchisement when he was an obvious victim of it tells me that it's become verboten to talk about, possibly by coercion. We have to assume this. Nothing else makes any cogent sense.
This also would seem to indicate he's not going Indie or Green. We must start getting in some faces about the fraud. NOW, if not at the convention.
Green or going Rogue he would have done so soon after Cali. That he didn't... I'm sure he looked at his options and decided to go this route - support HRC - instead. Whatever he chooses doesn't change anything. We're still in the same boat.

away with it. Totally get away with it, no less, because the one they cheated is not saying a damn thing about their sleazy underhanded tactics. What he's saying that he'll vote for their predetermined nominee. Somehow supporting the trash that screwed you sounds very unsettling and strange to me, particularly when one of the issues one is campaigning on is fair elections.

speak of the millions(? sorry, I forget the #) of voters disenfranchised in NY. He never mentioned Hillary, but spoke of the serious mistake of regime change in Libya & stated that diplomacy before force had to be part of the Democratic platform. He also said that it wasn't until his campaign learned that people needed more social security, not less, and politicians learned that most people wanted to increase SS, that now they will do it. He said, without naming names, that some Democrats had plans to gut it.
In other words, he spoke of election fraud & faulty decisions of Hillary, Obama & even Bill who'd planned to gut SS.
The speech is 1.5 hrs, and very wonderful, available on Progressive Wing.
And I agree that we have to insist MSM cover the frauds more.
I take him at his word, and do not fault him for not bolting the Democratic Party. We, however, made no such promise when we made known our support of him.

I hope you are wrong in your sentiment...yes, it will be disappointing if Bernie capitulates.. But, do realize, politics is like sausage, not something you like to see made. Bernie has been around, and knows the ugly side of making things work.
There ain't no picnic without sausages. I hope he is paying attention to the big picture, and doing the necessary dirty work in a delicate fashion to avoid political suicide prematurely
is, and you don't understand the shock? I would have thought that all the horrible ways that the DNC/Shillarites/DWS/Corporate media rigged this thing he might have had some objections. We were cheated out of a fair election. Where is the shock and anger over that?

There's plenty going on behind the scenes still - vote counting is ongoing, lawsuits have been filed, FBI investigation, etc.
Why would him being forced to reluctantly concede he'll vote for his party's nominee be shocking? Is it good politics for him to say he'd refuse to vote for his party's nominee at this point? So he can be called not a true Democrat, or a sore loser, etc?
What if she actually were indicted, and he was the one left standing when the convention rolled around, and he had made a point of saying he doesn't support fellow Democrats?
I guess we'll know by then just exactly how deep the rigging of things goes. The convention could end with huge numbers of $27 donations going to Jill Stein.
I want a demonstration that my vote will be counted.
Whatever it takes to get to that, that's what I want to see.
If it can't be demonstrated that my Green vote will be correctly counted, then I'm going to have one of two remaining choices: not vote for the POTUS slot or vote for Trump. I don't know if I can do the latter, so somebody better goddamn show me that votes are counted correctly, or I might have to hold my nose. Because I am NOT VOTING FOR HER.
That should be the top task of any revolution--restore our ballots. Count them FAIRLY. Count them ALL. If they can't show us that, then what is the fucking point of any of this?
votes still sitting there, I would say the odds of the votes being counted honestly are in the proverbial 'slim to none' range.
You're right. What's the point of it all if it's rigged? Kubuki for the peasantry I guess. Allowing those who still believe to maintain their illusion that we live in a 'Democracy'.

The way I look at this POS "interview" by msnbc is that they brought Bernie on to ask him one question. Will you vote for clinton. He said yes. So what? He didn't endorse her by any means and he certainly didn't tell me or any of his supporters to vote for her. And towards the end of this 'interview' they asked him why he doesn't drop out - end his race. He said why should he, he has a lot to fight for. Don't read anymore into this than what you see. Bernie is still in the race and he hasn't endorsed clinton. period.
BTW, wouldn't it be nice if the presumptive nominee would do an real interview?
although I bet Bill Clinton did and Hillary Clinton will. You're supposed to play nice and vote for (one of) your opponent(s). So since there's no way Bernie is going to voter for Trump....
Amanda, Bernie is simply following what he has repeatedly stated he will do. I'm not disagreeing with you, that there was a very large amount of fraud in the Democratic primary, because there was. The DNC rigged the election for Hillary Clinton, no duh.
But that doesn't mean that Bernie can necessarily be a one-man army and take that on. I'm quite sure he wouldn't even know where to start because the corruption is so widespread. He's kind of fucked in this regard -- Bernie tried to beat the system through conventional means, so he's bound by conventional laws a bit.
This is certainly a tragedy, make no mistake, but I just don't know what he can do single-handedly. I wish we had more accountability in this country, but we don't.
Bernie conducted himself with a revolutionary persona throughout the primaries. Shouting, making demands, gesticulating, rousing speeches, accusations of "fraud" (at least in the early phase). He constantly talked "revolution" and about "taking his revolution to the convention". Then, after the most egregious example of fraud and disenfranchisement yet, he goes silent, doesn't let us know what's going on, and now endorses Hillary, the opponent who stands for everything he's been railing against throughout his campaign. How are Bernie supporters supposed to carry out a revolution if he caves and our votes don't count? Bring out the pitchforks? Seems to me he threw it all away, when he could have truly built on his accomplishments by going indie and giving us a place to go and Bill Clinton be damned.
He called out wall street for fraud and the corruption of the party and the NY vote. He's still fighting.
It was about and hour and a half

As lunachickie says below, I think there's something he knows what we don't, and he can't tell us about it - YET. Who is to say what he does after the Convention? There are just too many moving parts right now I think.

an election by every crooked trick in the book is not conventional law. It's criminal, it's illegal. It invades our democracy and electoral system. As for accountability in this country are you not saying it's lawless as far as the 1% owners of the place are concerned? He could start by calling this what it is a rigged fixed primary instigated by the Democratic machine along with the ruling elites.
Why is he continuing his campaign and stumping against the corruption that he's says he's voting for. He's not a one man army, he's not alone it's Us instead of Them remember. He can't have it both ways, call for a political revolution and then validate the fraudulent outcome and remain a Democrat. I'm not a Democrat anymore and neither are a huge % of voters. He does not do any service to a real and needed political revolution by acquiescing to the very people who he is opposing. An explanation would be order if nothing else. This is one big elephant in the room or convention hall.

"The justness of individual land right is not justifiable to those to whom the land by right of first claim collectively belonged"
it's beginning to seem as if there's something serious happening that he is unable to directly address it with the voters.
To me, that indicates something NOT GOOD.
Let's block this out on paper:
1 It's so fucking obvious the Democratic primary election was dishonestly conducted--or if you prefer (and I do), it was STOLEN.
2 Stealing elections is against American law
3 There is proof of the stealing
4 NOBODY IS DOING ANYTHING ABOUT THE STEALING. Not just Sanders, NOBODY.
What does that tell you, really?
I'm not shocked and I'm not surprised. This government's honest people--assuming others remain besides Sanders--is working at gunpoint. Nothing else makes sense. There are a lot of DISHONEST ACTORS in our government. What lengths do you think they'd go to, to keep things as they are? I think they'd pull out all the stops.
WE have to do the revolting revolution. There is no other way. Stop being shocked and appalled--let's figure out what the hell we can do about it.
They won. We lost. The revolution continues regardless. HRC minions think we're done. Have gone home to mope. They don't need our BernieOrBust votes, can win without us. And, true, they can. And will. But, we only lose if we give up.

Kinda hard to be disappointed or surprised when realistic expectations meet actual occurrence - and here we are.

heard him say he would vote for her. He always says he's in a primary now but did say numerous times he would fight to make sure that Trump wouldn't get elected.
I think he made a big mistake today saying he would vote for her. I think he should have answered that we're not at that point yet, we still have to partake in the convention.
that he will vote for Hillary Clinton, should she become the 2016 Democratic nominee for POTUS. If you want me to find some links, I can totally do that, but the dude said so repeatedly and I took him at his word.
So I have to disagree with you, re: he shouldn't have done that. The man ran as a Democrat and he's a person of integrity, so he's gonna follow through on his promises. I fucking adore that in him!
All that being said, I wish he woulda just threatened to run third party in the beginning (if he didn't win), because then we wouldn't be dealing with all this goddamned shit right now if he had.
Because he said he wouldn't? I admire his integrity too, but the system he tried to work in has NONE.
I mean, I heard what he said too--he said more than once he'd vote for her if she was the nominee, but that was at the very beginning. That was before all the dishonest shit went down.
If it were me, I'd be all over "third party". A little 'after-the-fact integrity' in this one vow isn't going to make or break us if he walks away from that.
he American people have been RIPPED OFF BY SPOILED VOTING. That is NOT what we signed up for when we got a "democratic republic".
Of course, I woulda been happy if Bernie had run (or does run) third party -- I just don't think it's gonna happen because of the aforementioned promises.
Also too, the Democratic Party has him by the balls right now. If he steps out of line and doesn't endorse Hillary Clinton in the proper manner eventually, Democratic leadership will make his life in the Senate a living hell. Bernie does still have a day job.
I also agree with you about the voting fraud, but I'm too cynical to think anything will be done about it. The Democratic Party doesn't fucking care because they got what they wanted. I don't know how we make this a priority issue in the press when the Jon Ralston's atrocious lies are still being floated around like gospel, ffs.
at least IMO--and as long as I'm drawing breath, I'm gonna do everything in my power to see to it that they don't.
I don't know how much if anything that might be--and I'm a cynic, too, but I must be the most stubborn one on the planet, cuz I ain't giving up on the idea that he's blowing smoke up some asses.
PARTY died with Bill Clinton. The Third Way Neo-Liberal 'New' Democrats Party came into power on that sleazy bastid's back. Those shits don't think he's a Democrat anyway. Want proof? Her's her highness spelling it out in language anybody can understand. FROM APRIL OF THIS YEAR:

And it certainly was about fairness during the time of FDR to Jimmy Carter. Bernie is about fairness. There is nothing fair in the way the Clintons hijacked the nominating process. There is nothing fair about super delegates and a corrupt media and rigged elections.
The Democrats robbed him of the nomination just as the Republicans on the Supreme Court exhibited loyalty to their party over the USA and their oaths of office in robbing Gore.
Sanders should say that he played by the rules and was cheated by the Democratic Party establishment. He should say that because of the selfless supports from hundreds of thousands people, he is going to present himself for election as President in whatever is available to him.
I think this would be in keeping with his decades long reputation for integrity and he is a well known honest politician in contrast to his opponents who are not and can't even pretend to be.

say he played by the rules, point out the various frauds & lies & then go third party. But he can't do that until after or during the convention. Meanwhile, he's really still campaigning: keeping us informed (on tenterhooks), and in each public statement, he's subtly reminding those with eyes open that he's better than H. And he's telling us it's up to us. I see him as a bit changed now: a sly fox. Will it work? I don't know.
So,, this is good. Brainstorming about how we can insist that the media, the party, the FBI all follow through on her crimes.
fair and and ethical race. It was anything but. He was lied to. He was lied about. He was cheated. That should have said 'all new ballgame' right there. I FULLY UNDERSTAND why he would feel obligated to keep his word if the damn primary hadn't been so crooked and he and we had stood a chance but it wasn't. Now he's voting with the cheaters.
I will have to think about this for a while, but I don't know that I'll ever be able to come to terms with it. Someday, if we really want a true revolution, we'll have to find someone who really will stand up to TPTB and mean it to the 'bitter' end.
Trust me, I know the cause is right. I just don't believe it's ever going to become a reality anymore. At least today I sure don't.

becuz he really thought he was going to win. And campaigned like it. Right to the bitter end. I've never seen anyone campaign harder than Bernie. By comparison, HRC barely lifted a finger, mostly mocked his effort. "Silly Bernie. Doesn't he know I've rigged this?!" Rigged or not he campaigned as if it weren't. But, it sure would have been nice if he had given himself an out by saying he would run 3rd party if he didn't win. He may have thought that by saying that it would suppress is would-be voters (by not making a committment). And that may have been correct. But, given the results of the Primary - 21 states, 43% of the popular vote - I believe his 3rd party campaign would have been a cakewalk. Those 43% would vote for him again. The other 8% was there. [sigh]

What else is he going to say as long as he remains in the Democratic Party?
I don't think it matters much to any of his supporters, and his hesitation makes it plain he's not a Hillary supporter.
I am no longer a registered Democrat, for the first time in my life. I was going to wait until after the convention, but I had to get my license renewed, and updating voter registration was an option on the form, and I found I couldn't resist changing it.

Bernie has his own path to walk, and I'm pretty sure he has reasons for whatever he's choosing to do. Luckily, just because we support him doesn't mean we have to do whatever he does.
I love Bernie. If he wants to vote for hrc, IF she is the nominee, it’s okay with me. I certainly won’t vote for her, but he’s free to use his vote however he chooses! Don't we ALL have that same freedom to choose who to vote for?

Do not listen to the stupid "reporters". Listen to Bernie, nothing has changed. I have been fighting this fight since the 1970s, I do not care that he has decided to vote for Hillary. I still will write-in his name even if that invalidates my ballot. His name still represents the goal, and I will use it. So, go back and listen to what he is saying.
Do not listen to what they say. Watch what they do…
…but that shouldn't apply to Sanders? I must have missed the part where he is exempted from that judgment. Was there an excuse form documenting that? LOL
I did listen to Bernie. That's why I posted this video. He is going to vote for the person who, along with the DNC and the 1%, rigged the the election for the Third Way corporatist war whore. The same people that cheated HIM cheated US. It seems wrong to reward them by voting for them, at least to me. That seems so wrong to me.

Why do you care how Bernie votes? Let it go, take a breath, and get back on track. I will be voting for Bernie even if that causes my ballot to be invalidated. I am only interested with the rest of what was said in that recording. What any one other person does is of absolutely zero interest to me. If enough voters get organized and put pressure at the right places the system will change. Our job (if we want to take the fight to the front line) is to work out a plan (starting with a single action) and execute same.
Maybe because he's the guy who was telling us NOT TO SUPPORT the crooked factions in our party and now he's voting for them? He's the guy who brought millions into the political arena with that message and now he's doing the exact opposite. He was thoroughly and totally cheated by the Hillarites and the DNC and now he's accepting that fact and he's going to cast a vote to put her in office. Fine, but that doesn't mean we have to like it or ignore the hypocrisy of it all.
That's not giving all these new participants in the political process a reason to believe or trust anyone. If you can't believe and trust the guy leading you one, then who can you believe and trust?
I don't know what Sanders is doing but it does make one wonder, doesn't it? Of course he can do what he wants with his vote. And apparently it's now going to support the antithesis of everything he campaigned upon. We ALL know what's gonna happen if/when HillBillary gets into the Oval Office. It will be Business As Usual. Corporate America's business, NOT the people's business. Not even the business of the low info clowns that support Clinton. I don't see that bunch looking to overturn Citizens United anytime soon. Clinton is Exhibit#1 in regard to how big money is perverting the political process.

I just don't care what Bernie does with respect to Hillary because, I stopped trusting a long time ago. I know she can only win if we do not stop her. So, how about we get on with that task.
Are we good?
to me please (no snark intended at all) how the next guy who says he's going to stand up for the us peasants is believed in light of the fact that this one is voting for the person and her handlers that he was trying to save us from? I've been watching this crap for decades. The ending will not come out the way we want it IF the people we support turn around and continue to support the enemy in the end.
Make no mistake. Just like the Republican's are our enemy, HillBillary and all their henchmen are our enemies as well. The Republicans have the power they have today because this wretched creatures husband did every freaking thing he could to promote their agenda. And he was very very successful, even if he had to do some of his sleaziest work as he was on his way out the door (after being impeached for fucking lying about one of his tacky affairs no less).
So what does that say about Sanders voting for her, especially after all the fraud, lies, and dirty tricks except that's it's all water under the bridge and he approves of voting for the lesser of the two 'evils'.
Now it's my turn to are we ;still good'?

On my bad days I say, "Fuck it." and just stop interacting for a week or so to gain perspective. I spent 35 years dealing with people (IRL) trying to get me fired, censured, and otherwise discredited all the while pretending they really cared about how I was dealing with life. So, I have very little invested in what people say.
Victories (small and some not so small) sustain me, like the accomplishments lately here in Nebraska (Keystone XL pipeline and Jane Kleeb becoming Chair of the NE Democrats). If Jane ends up supporting Hillary, that will not alter the facts of these advances. "The next guy" might be Jane Kleeb for all I know.
To survive I stopped operating on the superficial plane a long time ago. I know what Bernie is trying to do, I know what Jane is trying to do. Their paths may diverge from mine (temporarily or permanently) but I will "stay the course" because I am less clever than most, and only know one way to maintain my focus. So,
what does that say about Sanders voting for her
I don't know, and at this point I don't care. What I do care about is, "What can we do to push the progressive agenda."
matter. We should be putting the Primary in the rear view mirror. We lost. They won. Doesn't matter how. Hell, if mt beloved NY Yankees can steal a run or steal an out to win a World Series game I'll be cheering that on even as the game announcers are crying foul. Did you see that?! How do they get away with that? Becuz they're the NY F'ing Yankees. That's how. We lost. I'm moving on. Suggest others do the same. The fight continues. With or without Bernie. I suspect and expect it's going to be with, but if it ain't... I'm on to down ballots and 2018. We still can beat those HRC boot lickers by helping Berniecrats win their races.

the angst. Who cares who Bernie votes for or doesn't vote for? But, Wink, after all Team Hillary and the DNC have done to Bernie... blah blah blah. So? Time to put that in the rear view mirror and get on with winning something in 2016 and 2018 and 2020. Yes, we need to (somehow) address Voter Fraud. Getting rid of electronis and going back to paper would help on the actual voter end at least. Don't know about the counting end. As someonce once said, it doesn't matter who votes, it matters who counts the votes. But, yes, eliminating voter fraud should be on our plate. TV and Media want election results 10 seconds after the polls close. That's why we get all this electronics and Exit Polling nonsense. Not that many years ago we didn't know who won until we read it in Wednesday's morning paper. It prolly wouldn't hurt voter turnout if we went back to that. But, it's the angst here that frosts my buns. Bernie will be ok. Time to get back to work.

Vermont is likely to be the the least supportive state of a Trump candidacy. Bernie may just be thinking about voting against Trump, just like I did in 2004 when I voted against Bush (I didn't support Kerry because of his Iraq war vote).
Now, Trump and Bush may be in the same league, but Kerry was a far more honorable and honest person that Herself. And I can vote for Jill Stein in my state, so that's what I will do.

This is an interesting conversation about why Bernie should run as a Green, and how the democratic party is too corrupt to save.

He said he would vote for her
That he's not addressing election ballot-counting fraud and disenfranchisement when he was an obvious victim of it tells me that it's become verboten to talk about, possibly by coercion. We have to assume this. Nothing else makes any cogent sense.
This also would seem to indicate he's not going Indie or Green. We must start getting in some faces about the fraud. NOW, if not at the convention.
If Bernie was going
Green or going Rogue he would have done so soon after Cali. That he didn't... I'm sure he looked at his options and decided to go this route - support HRC - instead. Whatever he chooses doesn't change anything. We're still in the same boat.

The only thing it changes is that
it's one more vote for Clinton.
It ain't gonna be mine, though, that's for damn sure. I can't say it enough--he didn't ask any of us to vote for her.
In these times, it's not just all about what they say or do--it's about what they don't say or don't do.
True. And the DNC has now seen that they can cheat and get
away with it.

So now he announces he's voting for the candidate that epitomizes everything he says he's against in that quote? I am just so confused.

Last night in a Town Hall in NYC, he did
speak of the millions(? sorry, I forget the #) of voters disenfranchised in NY.
Bernie said he would not go third party.
I take him at his word, and do not fault him for not bolting the Democratic Party. We, however, made no such promise when we made known our support of him.
This isn't about doing what Bernie does.
He's going to do what he thinks he needs to do. I'm still not voting for her. Or Trump.
Now interviewing signature candidates. Apply within.
Exactly. And I'm going to
keep hosting Meetups. The revolution continues...
Bernie, by the way, is in my neck of the woods tonight! I'm just too damned tired to go and grab some Live video. I expect someone there will grab some though.

I'm not voting for her either. I'm out of the 'Democratic'

sausage
I hope you are wrong in your sentiment...yes, it will be disappointing if Bernie capitulates.. But, do realize, politics is like sausage, not something you like to see made. Bernie has been around, and knows the ugly side of making things work.
There ain't no picnic without sausages. I hope he is paying attention to the big picture, and doing the necessary dirty work in a delicate fashion to avoid political suicide prematurely
Again, Senator Sanders always said he would vote
for Secretary Clinton if she became the Democratic nominee. Not getting the shock here, this is not news.
I miss Colorado.
You don't understand the shock? As crooked as this election
is, and you don't understand the shock? I would have thought that all the horrible ways that the DNC/Shillarites/DWS/Corporate media rigged this thing he might have had some objections. We were cheated out of a fair election. Where is the shock and anger over that?

He's a politician, and a smart person.
The convention is 1 month away
I guess we'll know by then just exactly how deep the rigging of things goes. The convention could end with huge numbers of $27 donations going to Jill Stein.
Beware the bullshit factories.
Before I vote Green
Well looking at California and the huge number of uncounted
votes still sitting there, I would say the odds of the votes being counted honestly are in the proverbial 'slim to none' range.
You're right. What's the point of it all if it's rigged? Kubuki for the peasantry I guess. Allowing those who still believe to maintain their illusion that we live in a 'Democracy'.

You can make the vote riggers work harder
The harder they have to work to get Hillary "elected", the more susceptible they are to being exposed as frauds.
Beware the bullshit factories.
They don't expect large numbers of people to vote Green
so there's no incentive to risk tampering with voting machines that way. Your vote for a Green candidate would be safe....this time, anyway.
Even the smallest person can change the course of the future
How does anybody know what they expect?
I don't think we can count on that. I want a demonstration on the vote counting.
I would think that any citizen who is legally registered to vote in this country should have standing to demand such a thing.
I agree HK
It's Not Done to vote for yourself
although I bet Bill Clinton did and Hillary Clinton will. You're supposed to play nice and vote for (one of) your opponent(s). So since there's no way Bernie is going to voter for Trump....
There is no justice. There can be no peace.
I absolutely don't understand it, no.
I miss Colorado.
What can he do? He can speak UP. He's the one who should. HE"S
the one who was cheated. He has the biggest dog in this hunt. HE was the one that was cheated.
Who else has a better reason to speak out?

He was cheated; so were We the People
Bernie conducted himself with a revolutionary persona throughout the primaries.
Did you catch his speech last night?
He called out wall street for fraud and the corruption of the party and the NY vote. He's still fighting.
It was about and hour and a half
[video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ovp7NZyBSWc]
“Until justice rolls down like water and righteousness like a mighty stream.”
I think this is where he really is hamstrung
in speaking out at all. They'll label him "sore loser" like they've already been doing. But he is NOT telling us to vote for her, and to me, that means this is our fight now, he's done all he can do. Horribly disappointing and makes me damned angry, but I'm just not sure what else he can do.
As lunachickie says below, I think there's something he knows what we don't, and he can't tell us about it - YET. Who is to say what he does after the Convention? There are just too many moving parts right now I think.

One of the best moments last night was when a heckler
yelled "Fu** you!'' at him. He looked at him & said, "You're wrong, not me, us" I wish I could remember what he talked about next. (Was it related to how we were screwed during this election? I forget.)
Love
I thought the guy in the audience yelled "Love you!"
Not "Fu** you."

Blatantly stealing
an election by every crooked trick in the book is not conventional law.
I agree. Sen. Sanders seems to be in the position of
endorsing the hatchet job on his candidacy instead of fighting it for all he's worth. It's not as though he would not have plenty of support in his efforts.
"The justness of individual land right is not justifiable to those to whom the land by right of first claim collectively belonged"
I can guess why he doesn't
it's beginning to seem as if there's something serious happening that he is unable to directly address it with the voters.
WE have to do the
revoltingrevolution. There is no other way. Stop being shocked and appalled--let's figure out what the hell we can do about it.What good would it do?
They won. We lost. The revolution continues regardless. HRC minions think we're done. Have gone home to mope. They don't need our BernieOrBust votes, can win without us. And, true, they can. And will. But, we only lose if we give up.

I'm sorry, but that looks exactly like "giving up". Thus, your message seems contradictory....
Unsurprised as well.

I've listened to a lot of his interviews and I've never
heard him say he would vote for her. He always says he's in a primary now but did say numerous times he would fight to make sure that Trump wouldn't get elected.
I think he made a big mistake today saying he would vote for her. I think he should have answered that we're not at that point yet, we still have to partake in the convention.
Shirley, Bernie Sanders has stated several times
that he will vote for Hillary Clinton, should she become the 2016 Democratic nominee for POTUS.
Ugh.
I miss Colorado.
Why didn't he?
Because he said he wouldn't? I admire his integrity too, but the system he tried to work in has NONE.
I mean, I heard what he said too--he said more than once he'd vote for her if she was the nominee, but that was at the very beginning. That was before all the dishonest shit went down.
If it were me, I'd be all over "third party". A little 'after-the-fact integrity' in this one vow isn't going to make or break us if he walks away from that.
he American people have been RIPPED OFF BY SPOILED VOTING. That is NOT what we signed up for when we got a "democratic republic".
I agree, the system has no integrity.
I miss Colorado.
They haven't gotten what they want yet,
at least IMO--and as long as I'm drawing breath, I'm gonna do everything in my power to see to it that they don't.
I don't know how much if anything that might be--and I'm a cynic, too, but I must be the most stubborn one on the planet, cuz I ain't giving up on the idea that he's blowing smoke up some asses.
What 'Democratic' Party are you referring to? The DEMOCRATIC
PARTY died with Bill Clinton. The Third Way Neo-Liberal 'New' Democrats Party came into power on that sleazy bastid's back. Those shits don't think he's a Democrat anyway. Want proof? Her's her highness spelling it out in language anybody can understand. FROM APRIL OF THIS YEAR:

.....
I would love to say it to her face:
The Democratic party has been marketed as the Party of fairness
And it certainly was about fairness during the time of FDR to Jimmy Carter. Bernie is about fairness. There is nothing fair in the way the Clintons hijacked the nominating process. There is nothing fair about super delegates and a corrupt media and rigged elections.
Beware the bullshit factories.
Luna: Bernie, an Independent, ran in the Dem primaries.
"The justness of individual land right is not justifiable to those to whom the land by right of first claim collectively belonged"

she doesn't think he's a Democrat anyway. It's from April of THIS YEAR, a month and a half ago.
He owes her and the 'party' NOTHING.

That is exactly right
so why would someone say/do something so completely at odds with reality, unless they were forced to somehow?
yes, but he can say that at or after the convention,
why does everybody get so upset that he doesn't say that now? It would be premature, imo.
https://www.euronews.com/live
I also think he should do that,
say he played by the rules, point out the various frauds & lies & then go third party.
He said all that back when he thought he had a chance in a
fair and and ethical race.
At least today I sure don't.

yep. I guess he didn't
becuz he really thought he was going to win. [sigh]

Yeah, I don't find this unexpected in any way
What else is he going to say as long as he remains in the Democratic Party?
I don't think it matters much to any of his supporters, and his hesitation makes it plain he's not a Hillary supporter.
I am no longer a registered Democrat, for the first time in my life. I was going to wait until after the convention, but I had to get my license renewed, and updating voter registration was an option on the form, and I found I couldn't resist changing it.
I'm Independent, WOOT!
Bernie has his own path to walk, and I'm pretty sure he has reasons for whatever he's choosing to do. Luckily, just because we support him doesn't mean we have to do whatever he does.
Bernie is going to keep his word at every turn.
I love Bernie. If he wants to vote for hrc, IF she is the nominee, it’s okay with me. I certainly won’t vote for her, but he’s free to use his vote however he chooses! Don't we ALL have that same freedom to choose who to vote for?

There's a lot that can happen before the Convention
The RICO lawsuit may gain steam, the DNC fraud lawsuit may as well; there may be an indictment...I am glad Bernie is not conceding, and still holding his cards close. Anything can happen. Berners are working to flip superdelegates. Now is the time to remain steady...Bernie is still campaigning... Check out his speech last night.

The media has a head full of rocks and they asked a
stupid question. I posted this because of what Sanders said he was going to do, not some thoroughly expected ignorant and irrelevant questions from the media. That's what the media in this country does. The interviewer not throwing in a stupid question or twenty would have been reason for surprise.

AND shock!
I am not making fun of you. The media here is just pointlessly inept and bought off.
I'm not worried about this, though, and neither should you. He's said it more than once, and this shit ain't over yet. Besides, he didn't ask us all to vote for her.
Not that I would, and I'm not gonna, either
Actually, I think they just share one big rock
between the lot of them. The video is another great example of Sanders staying on message and getting the word out on what the revolution is doing. Making sure that people hear that 20,000 people have signed up within a week is important for people to hear.
I am beginning to think that if HRC is elected, she may well be in the position of Queen Elizabeth...the titular head of a government who is drug out for state occasions.

this is a really good thing.
I am not at a loss for words.
Listen to what he's saying? Nope. I'll watch what he does.
...just like for every other politician -
Do not listen to what they say. Watch what they do…
…but that shouldn't apply to Sanders? I must have missed the part where he is exempted from that judgment. Was there an excuse form documenting that? LOL
Have I suddenly lost control over the English language?
I did listen to Bernie. That's why I posted this video. He is going to vote for the person who, along with the DNC and the 1%, rigged the the election for the Third Way corporatist war whore. The same people that cheated HIM cheated US. It seems wrong to reward them by voting for them, at least to me. That seems so wrong to me.

Why do you care?
Why do you care how Bernie votes? Let it go, take a breath, and get back on track. I will be voting for Bernie even if that causes my ballot to be invalidated. I am only interested with the rest of what was said in that recording. What any one other person does is of absolutely zero interest to me. If enough voters get organized and put pressure at the right places the system will change. Our job (if we want to take the fight to the front line) is to work out a plan (starting with a single action) and execute same.
Why do I care how Bernie votes? Now let me see...

I agree with everything you have written.
I just don't care what Bernie does with respect to Hillary because, I stopped trusting a long time ago. I know she can only win if we do not stop her. So, how about we get on with that task.
Are we good?
We're good. But the thing is, where is that track? And explain
to me please (no snark intended at all) how the next guy who says he's going to stand up for the us peasants is believed in light of the fact that this one is voting for the person and her handlers that he was trying to save us from?

We are very good.
So,
I don't know, and at this point I don't care. What I do care about is, "What can we do to push the progressive agenda."
But it simply doesn't

We can do that and we can also
ensure that the cheating and the vote stealing is addressed.
Please, your message is losing me, it's up and down and all around. It's Let's Do This, But What's The Use? That is not encouraging to anybody. Please....
It's the angst. I don't get

His vote is symbolic, anyway
Vermont is likely to be the the least supportive state of a Trump candidacy. Bernie may just be thinking about voting against Trump, just like I did in 2004 when I voted against Bush (I didn't support Kerry because of his Iraq war vote).
Now, Trump and Bush may be in the same league, but Kerry was a far more honorable and honest person that Herself. And I can vote for Jill Stein in my state, so that's what I will do.
Even the smallest person can change the course of the future
Apparently, the revolution is not yet occurring...
It may be building, but when it does occur, we won't need to be told it is happening in some blog post.
We will know.
But hey, maybe Sanders is playing 12 dimensional Chess or something, yeah, that must be it…
It's a fucked up world.

LOL Yeah, OK. Sure.
ugh.
Well when ya just roll over and die
it ain't gonna happen, ever.
I'm not saying you are. Just make sure you don't, that's all
I'm still Sanders
Lot's can happen and I'm aboard till the train stops. If it does, I'm going with Jill.
This is an interesting conversation about why Bernie should run as a Green, and how the democratic party is too corrupt to save.
