I want to congratulate her on making history, no other candidate for President has ever been under two federal investigations while running for office. But God love her, nothing will stand in the way of her stealing this election outright, from rigging the primaries to buying out every damn Super Delegate that ever lived. Did you catch those late Sunday night debates? I didn't either. And the Hillary Victory Fund? Now she gets to keep all that money for herself. Fuck the down ballot candidates. Did you know she called the Associated Press herself and TOLD THEM she'd already won this thing? Now that takes balls. That's why I've decided to hold my nose and endorse Hillary Clinton. As the first black president to endorse the first woman president, she and I will look high and low to find the first LGBT person to run in 2024 to complete the "progressive by appearances only" trifecta. What I focus on when I read this is my continuing wonder that so many people have been so damaged in such peculiar ways. From my point of view, c99 is still engaged in healing and the site's Founders are still engaged in triage.
A lifetime of political belief and commitment has been dislocated. Some psyches are quite shaken. Meanwhile, Democratic Operatives are flooding the media with assurances. They say things will settle down and soon everyone will reunite behind Hillary and the Party. Within the next two weeks.
A complete disconnect! At c99,we see the opposite. Folks are increasingly making Hillary's defeat their first priority, no matter what the outcome.
It's all in flux. So, say what you need to bring you to a comfortable place. Like I said, most folks here have been there.

We have a lot of refugees from dailykos. People are free to talk about the place. Some need to talk about it more than others. However, we do not want to follow in the footsteps of other blogs that OD on bashing dkos. We are not an anti-dkos blog. The hope is that we will all eventually move along and leave dailykos to its declining numbers and misery. There is more in the meta diaries in welcome new users top left hand corner.

I remember once having gotten into a little exchange with her about me saying that her views are a little bit too close to (I paraphraze, because it's a long time ago and I can't for my life search for that with the dkos search engine) a pro-corporate, capitalistic world view. She just put me down as silly. This is a long time ago. So, no surprise here either. She didn't fold, she just didn't know at first how to react to the fact that so many seem to be supportive of Sanders. She just needed to save the "jobs" in her district for keeping her folks to vote for her and therefore supported the corporations around there in her neighbohood (forgot which corporation it was) without any hesitation.
