Thank you, Bernie!!
FUCKING A!!! BERNIE IS GOING TO PHILLY!!!!!
WooHoo!!!
"I used to vote Republican & Democrat, I also used to shit my pants. Eventually I got smart enough to stop doing both things." -Me
Shit, I got actual tears running down my face listening to this
speech, I feel like such a gigantic sap.
He referenced his Obama call and said he looks forward to working with him going forward, then congratulates Hillary on her victories.
This man just oozes class and statesmenship
"I used to vote Republican & Democrat, I also used to shit my pants. Eventually I got smart enough to stop doing both things." -Me
Clinton looks to be stealing California to me
Maybe when I wake up in the morning it will be different but right now it looks like a repeat of NY. They couldn't let her lose Cali. Explains Bill's toast taunt the other day. He knew the fix was in.
Night all.

the delayed results are purposeful
We'd have to be idiots to believe that the lagging results in CA were not part of a squeeze play to get Bernie to capitulate, but our man has real back bone. He was wonderfully defiant.
And they are going nuts on certain Democratic websites in
faux outrage.

LoL I can only imagine.
fortunately my imagination is vivid enough that I don't have to take a sojourn over there to witness it. I am already sure it is much worse than my liquor and weed stewed mind could come up with.
And that in and of itself is a fucking shame for TOP.
It was a good thing for so long it is a shame to see it die, but die it must.
Just like the DNC.

The numbers are SLOWLY getting closer, from 61.4% to
60.4% to 60.1%. Have a good night, Steven, it's not over yet!

I had a bad feeling earlier
I had a bad feeling earlier in the day when I kept reading reports on reddit about NPPs being given provisional ballots, whereas everything seemed fine in the others states voting today.
Wow, Bernie doesn't sound as if he has lost,
what a fighter. The crowd woke me up.
The struggle continues. TYT shouted me out of my sleep and I fell almost out of my bed.
Ok, I am going back to sleep. It's not over until it's over. It's not over.

Did that speech sound like a guy who
is defeated. He's not leaving the ring yet.
This is inadequatly transcibed, but though inadequate is accurate.
We are going to fight hard in the DC primary and then we take our fight for racial injustice, income injustice to Philadelphia.
And the mention of the call with Obama.
Our fight is to transform this country and to understand that we are in this together. That what we believe is what the majority of the american people believe.
We don't know what will happen in California but I believe the gap will diminish.
"The struggle continues"
PS Bernie is called for Montana
The people, united, will never be defeated.
I just signed up for a 7 day free trial to TYT.
But I am thinking I may keep it. It is spendy, but they are a network worth supporting, plus I really want to hear their "post game" coverage.

I'm not a rich person
but I just donated $99 to this site.
I didn't know The Young Turks (TYT) are listener supported as well. They have provided me a lot of thoughtful interaction.
Seems like all my favorite things are user supported. C99% WFMU (a radio station out of New Jersey) and now TYT? I still save money because CNN/MSNBC/FOX would cost me more in cable and internet bills (and avoiding them I would be getting more honesty, there's no price value for that).
The people, united, will never be defeated.
That's because as soon as you're advertiser supported, you
start feeling that you have to modify what you say to please your advertisers.

I hear that, there are only two podcasts networks that I pay for
TYT and a Right wing biased, but generally funny one if you like cringe humor.
I doubt many of my progressive friends would find the content on the other near as humorous as me, but then again I am a big fan of Stand Up comedy and cringe humor comedians as well, their politics are not as important to me if they make me laugh.
"I used to vote Republican & Democrat, I also used to shit my pants. Eventually I got smart enough to stop doing both things." -Me
I'm hoping they drop the price some
As more people sign on. Democracy NOW and the real news network are my go to sources for news but TYT is great for laundry day and the hour before I go to bed.
Solidarity forever
I agree that 10 bucks a month is a bit spendy.
especially when compared to the amount of programming I get from the other paid one for $6. but I still spend more time watching TYT than HBO or any other premium channel so that is how I justify it to my inner cheapskate.
"I used to vote Republican & Democrat, I also used to shit my pants. Eventually I got smart enough to stop doing both things." -Me
Democracy Now
is on my Roku and it's free. Of course, you have to buy the box, but there's a lot of free programming on there that's no extra charge.

SuperDs/establishment
Cenk says the SuperDs are establishment and they dislike Bernie so much they would stay with Hillary even if she is indicted. He says the SuperDs are the establishment so they are not going to vote for a revolution against themselves. Interesting point.
We'll have to wait and see. I hope, of course, that they are
wrong on that point. I think if she gets indicted, or as they mentioned if for some reason her poll numbers go way down extremely, they will be wondering if they can win the GE. Bern can make nice, he's not as radical as all the smears try to paint him. FDR-style democracy is not all that scary, and President Sanders would still have to get Congress to act on his proposals, so he's not going to suddenly dismantle the tax system or whatever. I think they might rather win with Bern than lose to Trump with Hill. But it's going to have to be very, very obvious that she has become a losing proposition.

What with "Gordon Gekko" supporting Bernie, Wall Street is
actually considering Bernie ...

That really makes me wonder wtf the world is coming to.

Anybody but Trump! Don't know what I'd do if I were a

Sounds about like the same response any Sanders supporter
will be forced to make if Clinton is the Nominee in November.
Personally, I got no problems voting for Stein, I already left one party that didn't represent my beliefs so I don't feel particularly beholden to this one either.
Maybe I have become too jaded...
"I used to vote Republican & Democrat, I also used to shit my pants. Eventually I got smart enough to stop doing both things." -Me
I don't know, maybe we should all be more jaded. After all,
we have witnessed what seems to be election effery in a whole lot of states, and not much being done about it. Whatever we do, unless Bern can somehow launch an investigation in multiple states at this point, if they get away with it now, then we're going to get effed with again in the fall.
Even so, I just can't decide at this point. I have to see how things turn out. If it's possible to watch the convention live, that's what I'll do, since the MSM has proven themselves extremely unreliable and not particularly fond of facts.

I'm reminded of something John Waters once said, "I find value in things that are tragically ludicrous."
Yeah, I didn't really laugh either. But I think it's important to understand the opposition.

I agree with you Dave, when presented with the choice to either
laugh or cry, I try to always choose laughter.
And the absurd is more worthy of our mocking laughter than our tears.

It is interesting the contrast, they are still funny and passionate but the show loses a certain amount of it's "Fire" when he isn't on.

I've never listened to them before...
but while we were in Hawaii I was doing computer work from the boat and listened to talk radio all day. The progressive ones, the the right wing crap. Mike Malloy was always my favorite and he helped me through the Bush years and help keep me from going insane.
The last couple of days, I become obsessed with the Hillary email thing and read the long version of Thompson's timeline of events, which led me searching and reading many other articles. I stumbled across Malloy's interview on You Tube and had to put it it on. I came to realize that I really miss listening to him. I'm one of those that enjoys the profanity laced rants that he does so well. But watching him, was even better than just listening. Watching his expressions and gestures added something to the whole experience. I thought he might explode when Thompson started talking about the entire contents of Hillary's server being uploaded to the "cloud". I need to find a way to start streaming him again. I get this feeling that until Hillary is finally indicted, which I have little doubt she will be, I'm going to need him again to keep me from losing my mind.
It is so hard for me to believe that our country has not realized the gift Bernie would be for the country. The people of the US get the government they vote for. I wonder if they will ever learn. Perhaps they have and another election has once again been pulled out from under them. At this point I really don't know. I do know, that Hillary is not going to be president, whether she is indicted and steps down, or is beaten by Trump, I can't say. But she will never be president.
“Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.”

I'm getting sleepy so here's my take on the wrap up for tonight
New Jersey: Hillary won. Move along. Nothing to see here.
South Dakota: Virtual tie ~1000 vote difference among ~53K votes cast
North Dakota: Slam dunk for Bernie! More dentists preferred Trident than North Dakota voters preferred Clinton.
New Mexico: Virtual tie ~6000 vote difference among ~214k votes cast
Wyoming: Virtual tie ~6000 vote difference among ~209K votes cast
Montana: Virtual tie ~6000 vote difference among ~113K votes cast
California: Release the Kraken and investigate the NPP kerfuffle.

But I didn't mention it. (maybe I was hickey)
Then JtC commented, he'd done some digging on some 'progressive' dude being a ghostwriter
I think it might a been you that then called him Columbo,

exit polls
An organization said earlier in the last couple or few weeks that they were going to do exit polling in California since the usual suspects quit. Anyone hear any more on that? Do we have any exit poll results?
They probably stopped doing them since that is a barometer
The "First World" has used election polls to determine the validity of elections for decades.

exit polls
Yes, I think some of the earlier ones didn't match up. Am I recalling correctly? There was no explanation. The exit polls must be wrong... Ha!
I guessed that is why they decided not to do California - because they kept being wrong, or not wrong, but not matching the vote tallies. No one wants to face why. Better to just quit doing it.
Yes the exit polls for the Dems
did not match the "official" vote totals in many states, especially New York. Exit polling is considered very accurate, so accurate that if results vary more than 2% from the exit polls, election fraud is suspected. The UN uses exit polls to check for election fraud in many third world countries. Comedian Lee Camp did a bit on it a while back. After that, they decided not to do exit polls for the remaining contests. BTW, exit polling for the Republicans was within the accepted margin of error in the same states.
