This primary has been very tough.
Bernie did something amazing. A real honest progressive candidate and he made a lot of noise, but the machine has done him in. He just had too much going against him--the entire force of the Democratic party. Clinton has won all of the "super Tuesdays," but each time Bernie came back. He has shown us all that we are not alone in our desire for a new direction. Back in the fall, I would never have guessed that he would win a single state. He not only won many, but also galvanized a group of people, like me, who were cynical about the whole system. There really is no way moving forward for him to get this nomination, but that does not mean that the revolution has ended. A sad day, but I am so glad that he ran and united us. The future looks good for a more progressive turn. Thank you Bernie
Agreed, no matter what I think Bernie woke something
that was already stirring, and now that it is awake it ain't going back to sleep.
Even if he "loses" there is still the indictment hanging over Clinton, as well as Stein's outreach to him.
One thing to keep in mind, at least for those of us that have been behind Bernie from the beginning, is that we NEVER expected Sanders to get this far when we started. It is only the massive success that we have had that has made us realize that it was a possibility, but we gotta remember that this was a long shot from out the gate.
No matter what, I think the Sanders campaign has accomplished WAY more than I ever thought it would at the start of this.
I am more fired up than ever for the fight. This hasn't dissuaded me, it has made me realize we need to fight them more than ever.

Woot! We need this. It's part of the narrative.
Okay. Opening a second bottle! I have a glass of wine with dinner for the health benefits. The other four are for my snappy repertoire and fabulous dance moves. (I stole that from an Internet meme so don't upvote for that. Instead let me know if you agree with the following statement)
We need the Montana primary to show that Bernie wins more than Clinton....now. In the early days it was Bernie who? Let's turn that into Bernie Now!!!!!
The people, united, will never be defeated.
Well, I got white boy disease, so dancing is out of the question
but my repertoire does get wittier until about 2/3rds of the way through bottle 3.
Then it just depends on the company.

Come on CA & MT, don't let me down!!!
I want to end this
bottlenight on an Up note."I used to vote Republican & Democrat, I also used to shit my pants. Eventually I got smart enough to stop doing both things." -Me
I still am seeing a pattern of media pacing
The narrative is for the East Coast and Midwest to go to bed tonight thinking Bernie didn't "pull it off". Perhaps they won't look at the number the next day. Then they are more likely to accept the media narrative which honestly started yesterday.
The people, united, will never be defeated.
Jesus, the CA map looks like a photo negative of what I thought

Well California looks like a
Well California looks like a nightmare.
Still hope in Montana though.
Patience. I'm convinced this is
media narrative paced staging. The counties that "Feel the Bern" have not reported yet. Alameda County, San Francisco County (very densely populated and very motivated politically).
I'm going to make an outright accusation at this point. The media wants people to go to bed tonight "knowing" Clinton won. It started with the AP early release on Monday that Clinton won. Followed by the Clinton "victory" speech this evening.
So now they need to report only the Clinton votes at first and hope that no one notices tomorrow how many more Sanders hadn't been reported yet.
This primary has me putting so many words in quotes because the words don't mean what we think they mean.
The people, united, will never be defeated.
I hope you're right! I'll

What a drag
Boo to my native state California the place where I was born and partly raised. Boo to the rest of the Mad Bomber voters who could careless about anything but screw you I got mine. The fearful ones are just idiots who have been played for the fools they are. This won't do.
I don't want to waste my venom on the people. They are mostly
ignorant rubes manipulated by the system.
All my animosity is reserved purely for those that knowingly support the corrupt system for their own personal benefit and the system itself.
That is our real enemy and we gotta keep that in mind.
"I used to vote Republican & Democrat, I also used to shit my pants. Eventually I got smart enough to stop doing both things." -Me
Your right
but where do you draw the line? Most of the people manipulated are not to blame at all they are the victims. However I have a hard time understanding why ordinary people continue to support a system that means them harm regardless of their demographic designation according to the lying criminals and psychos that control the false duopoly. The system this country is functioning under is a fiction. Seems I'm not alone and I really hope people of all political stripes figure out a way to stop these psycho's regardless of which party's colors they fly under.
I believe it's attributed to laziness and
distraction. There are those who are too lazy to care enough to research the candidates. They are content with name recognition and a few snippets heard on the news.
Then there are those too distracted trying to eke out a living, they don't have time or energy to research who's running and rely on name recognition and a few snippets heard on the news.
This is what the oligarchy counts on. This is what the oligarchy promotes. Thus us what's got to change. The millennials are on to this. Electing a Drumpf might wake up the rest of the electorate. I just don't know.

Bernie is pulling away in
Bernie is pulling away in Montana. Hillary led early. People who hadn't yet heard Bernie and voted mail in went for Hillary. Those who took the time to find out what he was about actually voted at the polls and now the state is feeling the Bern.
Hopefully, that repeats in Cali.
You know one of the first investigative reports
She ever did was on the fellowship aka the family, the c street org that pushes a fucked up version of Christianity that preaches people in power are put there by God and to punish them for corruption is a slap in God's face. She of course left out the fact that Hillary made the statement that Douglas Coe the leader of the family is her spiritual advisor.
Solidarity forever
My guess is there were a LOT of provisional ballots.
When I voted this morning, two kids at my polling place weren't on the list. They were given provisional ballots, even though each had registered within the last month. The polling guy told them that the list of registered voters was six weeks old. Whaaa? Provisional votes may "disappear" if someone decides they're too much of a hassle to check.
Lots of reports of this sort
Lots of reports of this sort of thing on reddit unfortunately. Correct me if I'm wrong but I was given to understand that apparently you have to ask for a special Crossover ballot if you are NPP? That right there was a huge red flag more me. My state allows Independents to crossover too but we get a regular Democratic ballot. I read reports today of clueless poll workers telling NPP that had no idea what they were talking about and were handing out provisionals. Granted, anyone can go on reddit and make stuff up but the system DOES sound whack.
Yes, I'm afraid Bern might lose because of stupid ballot
confusion. So frustrating!!
Please check out Pet Vet Help, consider joining us to help pets, and follow me @ElenaCarlena on Twitter! Thank you.
I believe that is a feature, and not a bug in the process.
If it was broken in a way that they wanted fixed it would have been done decades ago.
The democratic party is just as corrupt as their opponents.
A fact that I feel like a fool for not noticing until now.
"I used to vote Republican & Democrat, I also used to shit my pants. Eventually I got smart enough to stop doing both things." -Me
Well, I've never been this involved in the primary process
because I didn't care that much. Even when it was Hill-Barack, their policies were similar. And I was pretty sure BHO had it in the bag.
Now that so many have paid attention, hopefully we can fix it. I'd trade caucuses for open primaries everywhere. And no more supers. As I've been pointing out to the Hillbots who don't want Bern going after the supers, who try to say it's racist, I tell them it's no different from any other year. So either the supers disenfranchise somebody's votes, or they're redundant and unnecessary.
But as always, of course, they don't want to take responsibility for the way the Dem party has set everything up.

Precisely why
We all need to go to an open primary system.
I'm in Ohio. There's none of this registered Democrat/registered Republican crap. I'm a registered voter - period.
Primary day I walk in, sign my name, the poll worker asks me which ballot I want. I always say Democratic, but the point is I could just as easily say Re... the other one and have it handed to me no questions asked.
Of course, the down side here is that you can only vote for members of the party you declared at the table, and indies can only vote on the issues (which is wrong IMHO). But all this changing your affiliation weeks or months in advance, handing out provisional ballots, or "crossover" ballots that probably won't get counted at all is bullshit pure and simple.
All my life I've heard about this astounding government "of the people, by the people, and for the people." There ain't a word of truth to any of it, and if there ever was, there hasn't been in a long time.
Meddle not in the affairs of Dragons - For thou art crunchy and good with ketchup
That is correct, and a fact that Poll Workers were explicitly
told not to volunteer according to credible reports earlier.

Back to our earlier conversation, elena,
even Cenk is saying it wrong. Says she has the most delegates as of now and whoever has the most should win. She has more than Bernie, BUT she does not have more than half. That is the rules. The 2383.
Yes, I was disappointed to hear that from Cenk. She will not
have 2383 with pledged delegates alone, so the nom is contested right up to the convention; Bern can go to the convention and make his case to the supers. The supers are not likely to switch, but might if something happens meanwhile. They really should switch because she has little to no support from independents and thus may very well lose. But if they were going to do that, they wouldn't have fought so hard to this point.
