Sanders Takes Control
Here's the most recent money quote from Bernie Sanders:
Yes, Trump's Foreign Policy Ideas Are Scary. But So Are Yours! We need a foreign policy based on building coalitions. not perpetual warfare in the Middle East.
Bernie Sanders responded to Hillary Clinton's foreign policy speech on Thursday in which she mocked Trump for having "dangerously incoherent" ideas on Foreign Policy, and said he was unfit to be commander in chief. Sanders responded with a hit at her own credentials, including her involvement in the Iraq War, and "regime change" in Libya.
"We need a foreign policy based on building coalitions and making certain that the brave American men and women in our military do not get bogged down in perpetual warfare in the Middle East," he said in a statement. "That's what I will fight for as president."

Hurray to Bernie for finally sticking Hillary hard.
Bernie has increasingly escalated the fierceness of his rhetoric (oh, the tone!) against Hillary. Many of us thought he was being much too polite when talking about street-fighter Hillary over her glaring flaws. But as the campaign proceeds, it is not winding down--it is escalating. And that won't be good for HRC.
Questions for all you peace-loving Hillarycrats: have you ever known of a war that Hillary didn't favor?
In all honesty, I think his being too polite hurt more than
helped.
It is noble to not engage in illegitimate spurious attacks against your opponent.
However, calling out their failings when running for such an important position is not just a good idea, it's darn near an obligation.
Too many people don't know the Clinton's for what they really are, and I just wish Bernie would have continued to be civil, but also factually illustrated the problems inherent in a Clinton presidency sooner. (Although to be honest, I was applauding his taking the high road at first myself.)
As soon as she started going negative and having her surrogates propagate lies he should have taken the gloves off, explained why he was doing so, and then let the facts fly.
Would it have lead to better results? We will probably never know for sure, but I would say yes. With her already low trustworthiness and public opinion people would have been more inclined to actually look at Sanders' assertions rather than outright dismissing them, but then again, with the MSM thumbs on the scale would enough people have even heard it to matter?
"I used to vote Republican & Democrat, I also used to shit my pants. Eventually I got smart enough to stop doing both things." -Me
He focused more on issues instead
If he had gone overly negative, it could also have had bad repercussions for him, or perhaps taken the focus away from the merits of his policy positions and his strengths. Both Hillary and Bernie might have come across as squabling politicians to some people. I hear you though as well but I would say Bernie's done so well despite all the hurdles and unfairness.
As Bernie said (and I'm paraphrasing cause I forget the exact words he used), people should be inspired to vote for someone rather than vote against someone. He said it in the context of Hillary vs. Trump.
Love is my religion.
Yeah...
Sanders, generally, has been too polite about Clinton's record. He has been very forceful in slapping down the Media's mischaracterizations of himself though.
But if I were a candidate, I would not just simply criticize the Iraq War vote itself. I would go through the entire list of "regime change", Coup d'etats, and preemptive War Atrocities, as well as the evil Noecon advisors around Hillary Clinton, and say each and every day to the public that this reckless Foreign Policy cannot continue, and that she is unfit (by her horrible record) to ever be a commander-in-chief. Clinton was allowed to get away with this "experience" image, when she has no experience .... other than pouring gasoline on a fire.
Bernie's looking more and more Presidential...
with each passing day.
The current working assumption appears to be that our Shroedinger's Cat system is still alive. But what if we all suspect it's not, and the real problem is we just can't bring ourselves to open the box?
If Clinton has such a sterling resume, why doesn't she
spend time talking about it? She had everyone's attention yesterday to hear about her foreign policy experience and plans. Instead, she spent the whole time talking about what Donald Trump lacks. She's a horrible campaigner. She doesn't know how to discuss policy. She wants to be president. You don't need to know what she plans to do!! So far, she's farmed out the economy to her husband. So, she'll be in charge of starting wars? Maybe she'll spend some time figuring out other groups of children she can send back to their horrible countries (because of her actions), to "send a message." Or maybe she can find new ways to take food out of families' mouths. Or poison their water. She has so many special talents, it's hard to list them all and not take over this whole essay.
Reminds me of the 2012 recall election in Wisconsin
The Democratic Party of Wisconsin (DPW)'s campaign during the recall election was so bad that George Lakoff has used it as the perfect example of how to lose an election. The DPW, among other stupid things, put up a series of roadside billboards featuring Scott Walker's face and some stupid or horrible thing he said or did. Basically Lakoff pointed out that you don't sell Fords by featuring Chevys in your ads.
The Clinton Machine is heading in the same direction. She even put out a commercial featuring people that already lost to Trump saying stuff about him. The TeamClinton bubble dwellers all applauded the deftness. This is a disaster slowly (moderately ?)unfolding.
Compensated Spokes Model for Big Poor.
The Flint Children
Didn't Clinton run to Flint right before the Michigan primary, promising to "help" the children of Flint in their water crisis? Did anything become of that or was it just a Clinton ploy for a photo op to win votes?
has she even mentioned flint since the MI
polls closed? Where Bernie uses it as an example of what's F-ed up in this country.

Guess!
"Religion is what keeps the poor from murdering the rich."--Napoleon
And after it's all cleaned up and all the new pipes are in
place, Hillary will claim that she is responsible for the great success. She'll take all the credit, like Mayor Weaver and all the local and federal elected officials had nothing to do with it. Because nothing in this country (world) can be accomplished unless Hillary does it! Just ask her. Whatever it is, she was there, and she took care of it. Must make those who really did the work feel great. Is that what they mean by delusions of grandeur? Where is she different from The Donald?
