I was watching a recent Daily Show episode and how it blamed Trump's rise entirely on the news media hungry for viewers, and I couldn't help but remember how this same show literally begged Trump to run just last July, and how hypocritical they are to point fingers now.
So, many recognizable names from DK.. right off the bat, I see diaries from divineorder, dkmich, gulfgal98, and more with comments from PhilJD, Tomp, gjohnsit and my very favorite DallasDoc. Although we've never met or communicated - DallasDoc is a far better writer and of everyone on DK I think I have agreed with his opinion 99.9% of the time. Thanks, Doc! Oh, I've missed so many important names, including Meteor Blades!!!
This morning the ban hammer came down on GBB.
I'm sure he pointedly posted his parting shot with full expectation of the ban.

Watching the Primaries unfold, the candidacy of Senator Bernie Sanders unarguably benefits from new media's ability to subvert the narrative being pushed by the corporate news machine. Where would such a campaign be without The Young Turks, Thom Hartman, Daily Kos (sans Markos) and Social Media?

Living as a Democrat in red state Idaho for 19 years, the idea of attending the Dem caucus felt like a futile endeavor. I've always shown up to vote on election days to at least secretly savor the idea that I was cancelling out my now ex-husband's ballot choices. As Idaho is a lightly populated state, the caucuses are county events instead of being portioned down into voting precincts, and my county, Canyon's caucus was in a high school's auditorium.
Yet another refugee from DK, but not just for the HRC issues and whatever his name`s threats. That said, I never liked WJC and like HRC even less and believe me I tried to like them, but I just can`t. There is just too much repug garbage and deception in their very souls.
