I just finished a round of phone banking for Bernie, and the last call was somewhat surreal. The person on the other end said (and this is verbatim):
No, I'm for Hillary. Go Bernie!!

We have our nominee
It isn't up to thee
And now it's time
To fall in line
Behind Ms. Hillary
Despite what some opine
Ms. Hill will do just fine
Some may be peeved
But I believe
She helps my bottom line
I know what some folks say
It's the dawn of a new day
Well here's the facts
Dumb Berniacs
You still must pay to play

Boise, Idaho - George H. Shoaf Reports for Appeal to Reason
By now, everyone that's been paying attention knows of the Panama Papers and the scandal that has erupted across the globe.
It appears that I am like many (or most) of you in that I landed here after becoming disgusted by the never-ending trainwreck that has become Daily Kos. Also like many of you, I have logged out of Dk for good, and while I occasionally stop in to see what's happening, I very seldom click on anything. Most of you who still post there are kind enough to crosspost here, and I'd rather give my traffic to the founders of this site.
FYI, this diary has also been crossposted over at Daily Kos: http://www.dailykos.com/stories/2016/4/9/1513067/-Taibbi-Why-the-Banks-S...
Well, the Polls are closing and results should start trickling in soon.
Here is the link to the Guardian's results tracker if you want to watch Mini-Bernie fill in another map.
I will be posting results as I get them and hope to see you guys here!
Okay, maybe not totally inspired by his essay, but Gerrits' post on the Fukushima nonsense, and it's impact has made me decide to make known my observations on Humanity's energy brokers fascination with limited supply energy as opposed to renewables. "Wait, what has that got to do with Fukushima?" one may ask. I will get to it, but Uranium is also something of limited supply such as Oil/coal and gas.
