This is an interesting modern document deconstructing why the rich white people still own all the valuable land in the supposedly independent Kenya of today and it also gives some insight into the MOD for racism in the US which was very much influenced by British colonialism around the world.

Basically, its a way of paying off the in group with the rights of the out group and making sure they stay poor for generations.
