The Internet is full of complaints about our current political and economic arrangements. Our current political economy has led to a reduction in the number of semi-skilled jobs, a stagnation of real wages, a loss or substantial reduction in manufacturing businesses, financial gambling and speculation, more frequent and severe recessions, and the observation that our political representatives are more responsive to corporate interests than to the needs and wants of our people.

The lesson Nader and Sanders missed

Let's start with 2016. The consensus was formed -- Hillary Rodham Clinton was going to be the next President, and neither Bernie Sanders nor Donald Trump was going to stand in the way. Donald Trump was the chosen opponent -- the Clinton forces thought he would appear so horrible that the voters would be motivated to select Clinton simply to avoid electing Trump. Bernie Sanders was merely trying to chirp in with the notion of social-democratic guarantees of economic security.

Robert Reich Bites the Dust, Finally Goes There

He apparently could not help himself. Sure, he was a Former Clinton Admin official.

In the last couple of years when he became involved with grassroots political activism over FB and at TOP, decided to give him another chance, then was happy to see that he endorsed Bernie, explained many issues in a way that a broader public could understand them. Critic of the status quo Dem Party and surely a thorn in the side of the DLC.
