Attack dogs and pepper spray....private cops....again?

The oligarchy does not change. Only the faces are new. They have done this and worse over the years. The sham democracy is being exposed again in so many ways yet some still are foolish enough to cling to the illusion.-

I watched a recent video from the people's protest of the pipeline. Some really fine Americans are out there fighting for you and I. We need to get behind them and stand alongside them in what ever way we can.

Hillary on Bernie Voters: "It's Exciting to Be, In Effect, Protesting"

I have to go to work so this will be short.

If Hillary Clinton wants to be a better candidate that can actually rally the party in November, she really, really, really needs to do a better job of understanding why so many young people are voting for Bernie. And she really needs a better answer than this.

OT 12-24-15: Folk Music, Protest Music

I might have been too young for the folk boom. When some people had tuned out rock n roll in favor of Pete Seeger et al I was still listening to The Orlons...and liking what I heard. Later I found out there was a "Cuban Missile Crisis". I missed it. I was too busy with "He's a Rebel", "Do You Love Me", "Green Onions" and "James, Hold the Ladder Steady". "If I Had a Hammer" was on the charts, though, and I did like it but in a musical way rather than as a cultural lifestyle.
