primaries

Oh mercy me, I do declare, I have the vapors!

I am detecting fake outrage from far too many people that should know better. The irregularities in Iowa, and the planned convolutions, and deceptions in the upcoming primaries and caucuses are not bugs in the system. They are features of the DNC's desperate attempt to continue its campaign of top down control.

Honestly, I was spoiled by the result in Michigan. I actually, factually thought that Illinois would be berning up the polls yesterday. Pity that he only closed a 23 point gap by 21 points. (which is still a heck of an accomplishment.) Losing to her in her home state? By such much? It makes me wonder what would have happened after another week, given the trend lines.

My Fellow Berniecrats, Berniacs, and Berners

My fellow Berniecrats, Berniacs, Berners, or whatever else you call yourselves: I know today is frustrating. It was always going to be frustrating, at least through today.

Though we've lost some states today, the margins matter, and it looks like we will do better than expected in some cases. But in all, through today was always going to be our toughest slog. This is her finest hour this primary season, and that hour is coming to a close.
