Post Election Drama Continued

Things continue to get interesting - not attempting any particular narrative here, but throwing out a few possibly significant new bits that people might not (yet) be finding covered elsewhere.

A bewildering variety of claims of election abuse are popping up - from local and small-scale to international and huge.

The Revolution is spreading: Great awakening moves to Michigan

Cross-posted from Community Forum

It is with great satisfaction that I watch the Great Awakening (GA). This is not Q's GA, but the People's GA. From the ground up--which is the way all bona fide Revolutions begin. Sooner or later, leaders emerge but we're not there yet.

Fighting harassment on the job

photo LaRay-Reed1_zpsj7auqzrr.jpgLa'Ray Reed began working at McDonald's in Redford, Michigan in April, 2015. She is now suing her former employer.

The transgender woman says her managers called her names like “boy-slash-she,” groped her genitals, required her to use a broom closet as a bathroom and asked her inappropriate questions about her sexual orientation and preferences on a regular basis.

She was not allowed to use wither the men's room or the women's room.

Six Simple Ideas to Strengthen Democracy in America

Ms. Liberty Bears Six Good Ideas

Fair and reliable elections, an informed citizenry, wide participation in governance -- these are cornerstones of democracy. But the recent election in the U.S.A. has pointed out serious cracks in those stones. Gerrymandered districts weakened voters of one party, and made races non-competitive. Recently-erected hurdles stopped many from voting. Big media focused on the horse race, and ignored policy issues. Persons trafficked in misleading and fake news on social media. And, in the end, demagogy and crackpottery carried the day. What follows are six simple ideas that can, I think, be easily implemented, and that might well go a long way toward fixing those cracks and strengthening our democracy.

Michigan changes ID policy

Effective March 10, the Michigan Secretary of State has altered the policy on transgender people changing the gender on our driver's license.

Under the new policy, a passport denoting current gender is enough proof to change the gender on the license. The old policy required proof that the applicant had undergone sex reassignment surgery.

What makes America great? Here is one example:

I wrote this comment before Michigan:
I want a win in Michigan really really bad. Would be great to
See the Muslim community come out in groves and Vote Bernie to victory.
But, know this- We are winning every moment we are in this race.

I must have been on the super duper nice list because Santa brought me my present early:
