(Edit: Evidently the article I linked from Counterpunch was unlabeled satire that I didn't catch. Fake news if you will which Counterpunch should be a little leery of since they're on the oligarchy's fake news list. Doesn't change my opinion of Trump's mental state though.)

I've been thinking about the things we don't talk about (in the USA). We can talk about many things here. There are no rules forbidding it. But even here, some of these subjects are hot potatoes. And if there is an official story, parts of it are likely to be defended. It is as if we live lies, which must not be challenged.

Many have voiced concern about our broken criminal justice system, even predating Martin Luther King, Jr. The concern has been logarithmically increased, especially in the past four years. Hurray for Black Lives Matter for bringing this issue to the forefront of political discourse--though they are certainly not the first such movement to call attention to the broken, two-tiered criminal justice "system".
