I just posted this brief diary at the Dkos:
Long before the 2014 midterm-elections, I was one of the few people on this site warning members of the Democratic Party to prepare themselves for huge losses during the midterm elections. For holding that position, I was vilified. But in the end, I was proven right.
This evening's music features Chicago bluesman John Primer.
After reading Meteor Blades diary about the upcoming populist rally, I sifted through information about the stakeholders behind the event, and while I’ve made no definitive decision, yet, there are some red flags that can’t be ignored.
Perhaps the most alarming was an article written by Robert Borosage. Here is a rather large excerpt from the article:
4. Populist movements are an answer, not a threat.
For six years, members of the OFA, and members of the Daily Kos have attacked progressives for opposing Obama’s pro-corporate agenda. This evening's music features r&b songwriter and pianist Floyd Dixon.
