As England moves inexorably toward triggering Article 50 many are seeing an opportunity to revisit the issue of what is a European Union. A problem, for example, is that the members gave up an important aspect of their sovereignty without the protection of having a true union. Our monetary system depends upon a creation of money algorithm that cannot exist in the EU as it is presently constituted.
