More Tulsi Polls
Today, The Economist/YouGov came out with another national poll--non-qualifying, of course--where Tulsi scored 3%. This was a national poll, keep in mind. This was an Aug. 3-6 poll (see page 200):
This is 6th place in the overall list of candidates, and up from 2% in the same poll on July 31.
Harris, in this same poll, fell from 11% in July 31, to 8% in this latest round.
-------------
Tomorrow will see the second qualifying poll since the second round of debates, this one a Monmouth poll in Iowa. Tulsi has not done so well in Iowa, although there has not been much polling there lately. The last polls in Iowa had Tulsi at 0% in mid-July (CBS/YouGov) and 1% at the end of June (USA Today). She has plastered billboards all over the state, and perhaps her debate performance gained some notice, but we'll see tomorrow!
If she can get 2%, that will count as one of the four necessary polls!
Comments
Thanks for your essay
This was published before my chance to comment on the first one . The only reason to attend to current polling is that the DNC demands it. Bad ratings = no debate. No debate means less free airtime--probably none.
Polls are not to be believed at all. Look at 2016 for proof. The Dems began believing their own bullshit numbers, which they in fact invented. Nate Silver, the former Silver Boy (I would have said Golden Boy) of polling. 90% + chance that Hillary Rodent Clinton would take the prize. You fucking fool, Nate. Maybe you should go on wheel of fortune and make more meaningful predictions.
My mood is particularly foul, despite Tulsi commandeering huge Google search numbers in all 50 states TWICE. Swear word, swear word, swear word... We all know here at c99 that PTB won't allow Tulsi to win. They won't allow Bernie to win.
The humped-up Camel is done for. Trump would make Camel dung out of her in any debate.
Or ByeDone
The only thing that would save him in a real debate is a mercy killing.
I've seen lots of changes. What doesn't change is people. Same old hairless apes.
Bravo
Gravel's endorsement of Tulsi and Bernie
I posted this in a comment on a thread pertaining to Bernie, but I'd like to post it here, too.
Interview on the Primo Nutmeg channel with Mike Gravel, released yesterday, in which he explains his dual endorsement of Bernie Sanders and Tulsi Gabbard.
At the very end of the interview, Gravel says that Tulsi Gabbard is eventually going to be POTUS, and that she will be the woman to "break the glass ceiling" and be the first woman president. I've had that same thought, from the very first time I saw Tulsi campaigning with Bernie in 2016.
Gravel also says that his campaign has made donations to both Tulsi's and Bernie's campaigns to the extent allowed by law, and that he may be releasing ads promoting their campaigns.

This is my man, wishing him good health and
hope his support for Bernie and Tulsi will lead to a Bernie/Tulsi government one day.

It sounds like
It's what I'm aiming for, too. Sanders/Gabbard 2020. Then Gabbard 2024 or 2028.

Gravel would be my candidate
if I were voting in the Democratic primary.
I love Bernie, but you can't beat being the guy who dared to read the Pentagon Papers into the Congressional Record. Especially since he doesn't seem to have abandoned any of the virtues of his youth (or, I guess middle age, since he was in his forties back then).
538 has published something entitled "Goodbye to Mike Gravel, 2020's weirdest presidential candidate."
Yeah. Weirder than a self-proclaimed "spiritual advisor" running for President (not that I have a problem with her running--I am in favor of the old idea that if you want to run for an office, you can, and nobody has a right to tell you you shouldn't. Unless of course you are a criminal or a lunatic. But then, that's just that silly old democracy thing, so outdated.) Also weirder than running a mayor from Indiana who regularly polls in the single digits, yet is considered a "top tier" candidate. How stupid it is for a renowned Senator, still respected for his courage and integrity, to run for President.
I fucking hate Nate Silver and his goddamned propaganda site. He should go back to reciting baseball stats.

you think this is still the case?

I picked up on that, too
2024 will be Tulsi's year. I hope HRC hasn't been hung by then, so she could be forever shamed in her own eyes upon Tulsi's election.
Man, Look at This
A mainstream media news story about Harris plummeting in the polls:
SFGate
It's a mystery why! Zero mention of Tulsi's brutal truth telling about Harris, of course.
Well, let's face it
If the MSM had been doing their jobs properly, it wouldn't have been up to Tulsi to inform the American people about Harris's record.
The news media should have been investigating all of the candidates and reporting on them in a truthful manner. That's not what they're doing, of course.

Tulsi Gabbard doesn't exist says MSM
Read the SFG comments section. Tulsi got her props there.
And Harris got nailed.

Tulsi on Two Weeks Military Exercise
Pretty critical time for getting the polls up - I hope Tulsi can get some free time to keep making videos and perhaps get some news coverage of her participation in the Indonesian exercise. I suppose the campaign had a long lead time concerning the two break in her personal campaigning - just wondering how they can turn this into some exposure for Tulsi.

if there would be videos about Tulsi in uniform and
military exercises, people will shout, that she is abusing her military tasks she has to fullfill to promote her candidacy. Jeez, remember how Presidents like to put themselves up as being 'best friends' with the military for goog propaganda shots of the wars they supported.

According to
this MT tweet, there are no qualifying polls for NH scheduled between now and the debate qualifying deadline of Aug 28, in an early primary state where Tulsi has previously polled well.
