Dark Overlord hacks 9-11
Dark Overlord, the extortionist hackers who leaked an entire season of Orange is the New Black when their ransom demands weren't met, who also tried to extort West Park Capital and ultimately released their NDA's, reports and contracts, are now trying to extort the "Deep State" for 10GB of files relating to 9-11 they stole from insurance agencies and legal firms. They've threatened to "burn down the deep state" and "trump Snowden's finest work."
At least one company, Hiscox Syndicates, has admitted their security was breached.
...we were made aware that a US law firm that advised Hiscox, some of our commercial policyholders and other insurers, had experienced a data breach in which information was stolen. The law firm’s systems are not connected to Hiscox’s IT infrastructure and Hiscox’s own systems were unaffected by this incident. One of the cases the law firm handled for Hiscox and other insurers related to subrogation litigation arising from the events of 9/11, and we believe that information relating to this was stolen during that breach.
Other alleged victims of the hackers include Lloyds of London and Silverstein Properties.
Dark Overlord is releasing the files in "layers". They made their first release shortly after their initial announcement, having received 3 bitcoins ($11,000) in payment. The link to those files can be found here. They made a second release a few days ago and have announced that a third release is forthcoming very soon.
Forensic experts have confirmed that the files are indeed from the 2001 era and are legitimate.
Conclusion
So what does all of this mean?
TheDarkOverlord is a professional, as you might have gathered from his track record. There was very little “noise” in the volume – files weren’t shuffled around and reorganized. There are no glaring artifacts that scream out TDO’s true identity.
I am surprised that Windows was used. I expected TAILS or another Linux flavor. There are a lot of privacy implications from using Windows – even in a VM.
File metadata suggests the files are authentic. It would be a huge amount of work to create these files out of nothingness, using outdated Office products (or modifying metadata to show that), and then match these timestamps to file system timestamps. It isn’t impossible, but I would classify it as “extremely extremely unlikely”.
And, lastly – if and when more VeraCrypt volumes are decrypted, we will learn more about TDO’s tactics and techniques.
So far, no smoking gun material has been released in either layer. It is possible that Dark Overlord doesn't have any incriminating evidence. This is somewhat unlikely, however, as they realize that they will never be able to extort anyone again if their bluff gets called.
Meanwhile, Steemit, which along with Twitter, Reddit, Pastebin and others, have banned TDO, is abuzz with the recent unexplained purchase of $2.5 million in bitcoin. The purchase went through Bitfinex, which was infamously hacked in 2017 for $72 million in bitcoin, sending the market tumbling.
The Dark Overlords are demanding "about $2 million in bitcoin" to keep the files secret.

You'd be amazed at the list of people and nations the US
stripped of money for 9/11. You probably wouldn't be surprised at all to find that not one dollar was taken from Saudi Arabia or any of the Saudi princes.

the 9/11 widow's lawsuit is either going on or will be going on soon. The fact that the Saudis were involved with it was sorta known before the 28 pages that Bush hid were released. Now there is direct confirmation that they were involved with the hijackers.
Also there is going to be a grand jury impaneled soon to re look at the event. The original commission was very bogus. That this country is literally in bed with the Saudis after the event should be called treasonous, but .........

Lloyds is a dirty institution. Would not surprise me at all if they had the goods on the put orders in the days previous to the incident.

The put orders are the smoking gun that proves
that it was planned. Then there's all the people who were told not to go to work that day. And Silverstein who owned the towers took out a huge insurance policy on them. This too would be a great thing for them to release.
BTW. Did you know that some big banks, people and corporations sold their stock in BP 3 weeks before the gulf blowout and that Halliburton bought an oil recovery vessel prior to it? There was ample warning that it was going to blow out and no one did anything to try to stop it from happening. I don't remember the details but there were options to either stop it or to make it less damaging.

Some of the releases were posted. Lots of payout info. Who --> How Much Requested --> How Much Actually Paid ---> By Whom.
It struck me as odd the low amount the lease holder of the towers was paid. Maybe he had multiple policies?
No smoking gun that I could see, but I didn't go to any of the de-encryption sites listed for fear of possible shitware. There was a big build up until folks started posting what was actually released, then kinda 'meh'.
I haven't been on Reddit in about a week, but it was all being posted on r/conspiracy.
Wouldn't the owners

To be honest, I'm horrible with names. I don't recall the person's name. But in my mind, it was the guy who said, "Pull it" re bldg 7. And it sure seems like there was a shitstorm about how much insurance coverage he had on the buildings at the time.

before I post mine. Building 7 is another smoking gun. A woman news person over seas was talking about it and said that it had collapsed 20 minutes before it did and it was still standing when she said it.

Nope. Nothing fishy about this. Another BTW. The evidence of what happened is in the building material that was sent somewhere overseas before anyone could take a look at it. And one more thing is how long the pile of rubble burned. I doubt that airplane fuel can burn for over a week.

About the reasons for the collapse of building 7...

This is controversial. Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth have gone into this in detail, and have shown how the diesel tanks were not responsible for the collapse. Interestingly, NIST (the National Institute of Standards and Technology, the main government investigative body in the building collapses on 9/11) agrees with AE9/11T on this one issue. (As to how building 7 actually collapsed, that's another matter.)
