Wait! Me again? On Sunday? WTF?
I have all these repeating entries on my calendar, into perpetuity until changed. Under today's date, I find, among other things, in all caps for emphasis and with an "all day" bright color bar:
Obviously, this dates from those days when I did Sundays. Nonetheless, we're due for some nagging and some information. So, read this, do or don't do your thing, and then return to CStMS' open thread or whatever else catches your fancy.
I call your attention to the top left corner of your screen. There is a yellow "Donate" button as well as pictorial representations of some credit cards. Below that it a link entitled "Donation Info". If you click that link, you are greeted with the following screen:
Monetary Contributions to caucus99percent.com

You can make a one-time contribution by clicking the gold "Donate" button in the sidebar, filling in the donation amount by clicking on the $0.00s and then click the "Donate with PayPal" button -OR- you can create a monthly recurring contribution by clicking on the $0.00s and then checking the box that states: "Make this a monthly donation". If you are tapped out right now, please feel no pressure to do so.
No PayPal account, no problem! Credit cards are also accepted, look for the credit card links on the payment page. No credit card information will be sent to the recipient, such as credit card numbers, so feel safe in sending your contribution. And the payment page is HTTPS so there is no worries about the security of the connection. If you need any help you can reach the admin by following the directions below.
------------------------------
Making contributions via USPS Mail: If you don't have a PayPal account or credit card, you can now send your contributions by the USPS mail.
For the mailing address:
1 - Contact me by typing in "JtC" (without the quotes) in the "To" field of our Private Messaging system and leave a message.2 - Or contact me by using the "Contact Us" link in the header banner at the top of every page and leave me a message. Be sure to select "administrator" in the dropdown menu.
---------------------------------------
We also accept contributions via PopMoney. You can make one-time contributions or recurring monthly contributions. PopMoney utilizes direct bank-to-bank electronic transfers, so if you don't use PayPal or you don't want to send contributions via USPS mail, then this program will prove to be a safe, easy and viable option.
You'll need to open an account with PopMoney, after that all you'll need to transfer funds is the c99p email address. Contact the admin (JtC) for the email addy, or if you need help with PopMoney.

Thank you very much for your help in keeping c99p online!

So, I am lazy, frequently on the road and in need of reminders to actually do anything much beyond eat, sleep and breathe. I, ergo, long ago opted to make a monthly contribution so that I can forget about it unless and except when I feel the urge to make an additional one. I find this somewhat comforting when we are off camping or road tripping or otherwise traveling. Your mileage may vary, but please take a moment to contemplate all that this site provides and the fact that there are few other spots on the web or elsewhere where civility is pretty much the only restriction on content. Then contribute to the extent that circumstances permit and conscience dictates.
Thank you.

Excellent idea!
It is Thanksgiving this week. If you're thankful for C99...consider giving a little. I'm sending a contribution this week, and I hope some of you will join me.
...and Happy Holiday to all!

and thank you to all that help keep the lights on.
Occasionally it's asked why we don't use ads to help fund the site. Firstly I think it's safe to say that we all have a huge dislike for advertising cluttering up and slowing down the site. Personally I hate ads with a passion.
And secondly and most importantly, this site is dedicated to the 99%. How could we, in good faith, promote issues inherent to the 99% along side advertisements that promote and financially enhance corporate interests. This site has long valued our voice over the advent of caucus99percent.com becoming a cash cow.
Of the 99, by the 99, for the 99. It's up to us.
Thanks folks.
Good morning, JtC. Con mucho gusto, as they say.
