Urgent: Tim Canova needs $50,000 by midnight!!!
We always knew that if we pulled to within single digits of defeating Debbie Wasserman Schultz, her corporate donors would start a Super PAC and release an aggressive ad campaign to try and bail her out in the closing weeks of this election.
Well, it’s happening: We are within striking distance of winning this election — and our opponent now has a Super PAC spending a rumored $180,000 per day in an attempt to drown out our campaign.
We don’t have a Super PAC to respond (and we don’t want one!), which is why we’re relying on supporters like you to help us fight back. We’ve set an emergency goal of raising $50,000 from the grassroots by midnight tomorrow. Can we count on you?
Wasserman Schultz’s Super PAC is trying to drown us out in the closing days of this election. If we fail to hit our $50,000 grassroots fundraising goal by midnight tonight, it could endanger all the hard work and progress we’ve made within the last several months.
Younger people in particular tend to skip primaries, and that's Tim's strongest demographic. We need to GOTV (& DONATE) very hard in order to win this one. Early and absentee (mail-in) voting is happening NOW, and Election Day is August 30th.

Go DWS's opponent, Tim Canova! Can anyone donate?
I dropped $440 to get my alternator replaced (with a refurbished one, at that). So, I can't even give $5.
Anyone else? The pre rip off of the nomination/physical assault @ the convention Bernie actually endorsed the man.
Anyone?
Looks like they made the goal

I'd love to see DWS defeated.
I have donated to Canova three times.
Thanks to the Sanders link and how abominable DWS is, Canova has raised millions. My guess is that he has probably raised an unprecedented amount for a Congressional seat, especially for a challenger. He certainly has had enough to run a decent campaign with.
Both as to Canova and as to other candidates, where is the proof that the candidate who spends more is always the candidate who wins? I think this may be yet another thing we've been brainwashed about.
