"That's Okay. We'll Have the Revolution Without You."
One of the last comments I made before my banning at the Great Orange Shitcan was in response to a diary that asked whether or not we'd support Hillary if she gets the nomination. I simply answered 'No. There, happy?' One response to that was, as stated in the title:
That's Okay. We'll Have the Revolution Without You.
Voting for a neocon warhawk within a two-party system that operates as nothing more than a banana republic, even if a woman, is anything but revolutionary. Some might even go so far as to call Hillary's theft of the nomination a victory for women and feminism everywhere. There's just one problem with that: She has a record a mile long that proves without a shadow of a doubt that she is the embodiment of internalized misogyny and corporate power in a pantsuit.
So I'll just say this point blank: Voting for Hillary in the general election isn't revolutionary. It's surrender. And four years later they'll just stick their hands up another boogeyman's ass and we'll be right back where we started.
See ya around,

We'll figure something else out. The Dem party as is, is
definitely not the revolution. Even with a woman in charge. Just like Sarah Palin was not the revolution.

He'll change. Really, he will.
He always says he's sorry. He's really a good person, you know? Deep down. It's just that he gets angry sometimes. He'll change. Really, he will.

I think they meant...
Which is what will happen if that awful person is elected.
Gëzuar!!

what revolution?
Even with Bernie bringing new voters to the polls, turnout has been 50% below 2008.
Camp Clinton thinks they can win a war of attrition vs. a bombthrower the likes of which this country has literally never seen. They'll run the same campaign they ran in 1992. And get destroyed.
You keep using that word...
"It's my Party....
"...and I'll gloat if I want to."
I just keep reminding them how transformational Britain's first woman PM was. Maggie Thatcher anyone? Just before they change the subject...
But scary Republicans!
That's all I got
That's all Clinton's got, really.

They really meant
we'll have a Depression with you.
Because one is coming, sooner than anyone thinks.
And it won't matter who controls the White House or who controls Congress.
"You can't just leave those who created the problem in charge of the solution."---Tyree Scott
I think historians will mark this Depression
as having already begun, years
ago - if there are any historians
left and able to write history
after the end of the soon-to-be
thermonuclear WW III that the
US first began in 1990 with
Bush 41's New World Order
speech before Congress followed
by the US' first "Highway of
Death" invasion of Iraq.
Haven't seen one of those yellow
Civil Defense fall-out shelters signs on a school building or courthouse in decades.
Duck and cover indeed.
Honestly, and sadly, I believe
what we know as the 21st
century is about to become a
very hazy myth like Atlantis and
Lemuria before Atlantis.

Economic Collapse Of This Scale Leads To War
There hasn't been any real economic stimulus, because a real recovery would eliminate the starving masses necessary to staff the corporatist army as shock troops to conquer the world.
I think back to the executive order Obama issued a couple of years ago. If the authorities decide that they want your house, your vehicle, or YOU, they get to just take what they want. Add in the Patriot Act and the Military Commissions Act, and this nation is only waiting for its Führer to emerge.
Vowing To Oppose Everything Trump Attempts.
The US needs starving people to enlist
for three squares and a cot not
to conquer the world - there's
high-tech armaments for that -
but to occupy (ha!) conquered
lands, really hot - as in
radioactive (that's why all this
NATO talk to the propagandists
about "tactical" nukes) - lands
as occupation forces.
This is all about as bleak as
the bleakest sci-fi. We've been
warned so many times in so
many ways throughout history
from at least Maj. Gen. Smedley
Butler in the 1930s on - and yet,
really, what could any of us, even a lot of us together, have done to change any of it?
I don't know, but we're here now,
and while resistance may be
futile, it is the only ethical path.
Whether it's tearing up your D
card and voting Green or
convening a constitutional
convention and declaring that
new constitution the law of the
land or starting a local Peace
Vigil in your rural town square or . . .

High-tech occupation forces, too?
Maybe a company in the MIC can produce a self-driving tank sort of like Google's car (see also, Eric Schmidt?). And the bar for collateral damage is a lot lower than it is for a self-driving car: any mistakes will kill people the MIC can classify as potential combatants and besides they're people the PTB care about even less than American workers.
It already started 8 years ago
for the millions of people who never recovered from the crash. We are living in a state of permanent recession thanks to neoliberalism, and it'll trickle up soon enough.
I just realized that Sanders' List of donors
(if they don't already have it) could be used in quite punitive ways, given what we know about Big Data on us all. So- want to leave the country? That may not work anymore.
Hey! my dear friends or soon-to-be's, JtC could use the donations to keep this site functioning for those of us who can still see the life preserver or flotsam in the water.
Conservatives don't have a monopoly on stupidity.
It's so good to see that there are plenty of dumbass liberals out there.
