Towards Beauty
Beauty integrates the unique and the universal, our most disparate selves. It inspires and challenges us. In our own way, each of us can take small steps toward beauty, steps which are themselves beautiful. There is nothing we do that cannot be done more beautifully. This a reliable way forward, individually and collectively. Let beauty be your measure.

Hey Alligator, I replied using the blue reply button under your comment, but it seems to have disappeared. Anyway, you're absolutely right! War is ugly. That is why we should use more beautiful ways in our relations and struggles with other countries. (On a personal note, back in the Vietnam "era" I did some time in the stockade for my opinions on war.)
Please continue to disagree whenever you feel like it, respectfully or not. A while back, Scott Crowder referred to a comment of mine as "prozac." Loved it. Very funny, although I've not figured out exactly why.
