The amount of tanks and riot-gear-clad cops and National Guard, etc., is astonishing. There are still people in the camps, and there are concerns for their safety. Helicopters circling. Things are tense.
Please share and witness.

Do you have another link?
The one you posted seems to be a live feed from some foreign nation the US has invaded.
Had to turn it off.
Started getting Iraq Flashbacks.
They aren't treating them like protestors. They're treating them like terrorists. I guarantee you that the uniformed members were given IED briefings, because they're treating everything like it's a potential explosive.
They say we become what we pretend to be.
I fear that people also become what they are treated as.
I do not pretend I know what I do not know.
My thoughts intially as well.
Hey! my dear friends or soon-to-be's, JtC could use the donations to keep this site functioning for those of us who can still see the life preserver or flotsam in the water.
I've been watching it
and it is horrifying to see how our government treats its original citizens. I am so ashamed to be an American. There are no human rights left in this country. We actually are living under martial law.
Do I hear the sound of guillotines being constructed?

Just once, just once, I'd like to see a similar tactical raid
by all these manchildren, charged with "enforcing the law," to be used on the headquarters of Goldman Sachs, or Enron, or a Big Pharma co,, or any number of these economic terrorists, from whom the toll of death and destruction wrought by their endless greedy misdeeds is on a scale far greater than any other in our society.
Instead we see played over and over and over again, from the Pinkertons to the Palmer Raids to the FBI and DHS colluding to crush peaceful non-violent movements and unions striking for humane working conditions and a livable wage, these little pawns with their toys do the bidding for the rich. There's no other two ways about it. Too much evidence to make believe these institutions operate any other way.
This country is shameful. It's a banana republic, and probably always was. Feudalism, with cable tv.
The First Amendment reads:
But really it's as little silver spoon-fed Georgie Bush said, "just a piece of paper." It's clear it's just to wipe our asses with.
The lapdog MSM coverage, if there even is any, will of course pervert the proceedings to make it seem the protesters were just troublemakers overstaying their welcome or something. Gutless bastards too, or more to the point, pivotal payers running interference for their corporate masters in this Banana Republic.
The global financial elites and politically-connected DC donors will continue to run roughshod, because they can, with the full backing and support of the justice system. It's two-tiered justice in this Banana Republic.
Thanks for the coverage blazinAZ.

FOR THE EXISTENCE OF GOD
WAS MUSIC"

Not feudalism, colonialism
They take and take, kill and rob and oppress, and give NOTHING in return.
That isn't feudalism, it's raw oppressive colonialism. We ran out of other places to colonize, so now we're being colonized and expropriated internally.
There is no justice. There can be no peace.
The message is clear.
Peaceful and organized protest, like Standing Rock? We're coming after you with everything we've got. You see, there is money to be made by Big Oil.
An armed takeover of a federal facility, like the Bundy clan did? Stay as long as you like boys. We won't interfere.

Here's some music for the brave troops at Standing Rock
What goes around eventually comes around.
I watched for a while...
The narrator said the Standing Rock Tribal Council rescinded their permission for the camps on the Standing Rock Reservation. I wonder what, if any, leverage BigOil and their government lackeys/employees used.

thank you all for watching
It's still going on. I'm mesmerized, horrified, sad, and also grateful that so far no shots have been fired and no water protectors have been seriously harmed today (although there have been several instances of lethal weapons being pointed by the government troops directly at peaceful, unarmed people).
Chairman Harold Frazier of the Cheyenne River Sioux was just interviewed by Unicorn Riot, and his closing words were "We will be back." It's important to always remember that indigenous people, just like other people, do not all agree on politics or tactics. Standing Rock Tribal Council has backed away from their original support of the water protectors, but Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe is actually becoming more radicalized.

Standing with Mark Knopfler
at this time of mourning for the loss of so much
And a version with lyrics visible
From Mandela Live 1988 -- one humanity, one justice
the corporate state...
doesn't care about people or planet. Profit is the goal... and don't get in the way. Heard LaDonna Brave Bull say there were 2000 vets at Sacred Stone. Also heard the oil thugs closed down the rosebud camp. Many people are pinning their hopes on the courts, but I'm afraid the judges have been purchased too.
Nice to see you back covering our national shame, Blaze. Thanks.
