Smile, Bushocrats: You're On Candid Camera!

For those who would still deny the outright abusive (and I do NOT use that word lightly) relationship between the Democrat Party (to whom I can no longer apply the "-ic" I know is such a crucial sticking point) and its voter base, LOOK (AND LISTEN) NO FURTHER:

https://theintercept.com/2018/04/26/steny-hoyer-audio-levi-tillemann/?li...

I remember last year when I tried to explain on Daily Kos "what Hillary did wrong" and why Bernie was called a hero and she wasn't:

ME:
"They. Rigged. The. Fucking. Primary."

Kossack with forgettable handle and cutesy cat drawing avatar:
"No. They. Didn't. Go take your tinfoil hat shit somewhere else."

I tried to support my assertion with a link to the facts of the story. I knew I'd seen it...imagine the awkwardness when I wound up citing a site that I didn't recognize, but had an article about it that looked solidly written: wnd.com. For those of you who don't recognize that on sight (because I didn't), that's short for WorldNetDaily, Alex Jones's site.

Kossack with forgettable handle and cutesy cat drawing avatar's reply:
"WTF are you crazy? RWNJ website."

In retrospect, she could have said A LOT WORSE to me, considering the attitudes commonly directed at heretics on that site since the 2016 primaries; gods know other people did, and that's why I left after 8 years in good faith.

Anyways, I was able to find basically the same story on HuffPo (hence why I trusted the site I didn't recognize in acronymized form as the dank and sinister lair of American politics' own gibbering, paranoid Gollum: Why shouldn't I when it's corroborating others I recognize as legitemate?). I got no reply to that.
This was before the Donna Brazile expose.

Let me recap:
HuffPo and WorldNetDaily were telling the same - TRUE - story about Hillary stealing the primary, and both scooped Donna Brazile.

I've been politically-minded my entire life, ever since Disney's Robin Hood taught me to help the poor (I know, I know, I missed the point entirely - the real message is FURSUITS! Right!?), Fern Gully taught me to care about the environment, and becoming a geography savant circa ages 7-9 would make me a proud globalist. I ALWAYS cared - but when I first became ANGRY, when I first saw the system cross an unforgivable line, was when George W. Bush stole the 2000 Election and was allowed to get away with it. This sentiment, this line in the sand that taught me to be angry at the status quo, is not unique to me, particularly among my generation ("Echo Boomers/Millennials" - I like to think that you're an "Echo Boomer" if you were born in the 1980s, or a "Millennial" in the 1990s). NOT HERE, we thought. THIS IS AMERICA, AND THE PEOPLE RULE BY ELECTING THE GOVERNMENT OF THEIR CHOICE.

Obviously, a lot has happened since then, almost all of it bad, and we have learned just how much farther the rot spreads. But for many of us, the outrage that haunts our lives and drains us like hungry specters started with Bush V Gore. It is why so many of us despise the GOP, and sided with the Democrats whether we were truly happy with them or not.

Fast-forward to 2016: What Republicans were in 2000, the Democrats had proudly become.

Bushocrats.

I hate George W Bush. The word "hate" is not enough. The sentiment transcends coarse emotion. It is an empyrean philosophic distillate of moral outrage, refined to its Platonic ideal.

George W Bush raped my entire generation.

If you are like him, then I don't care if you are Bisexual Malala Pokemon Go Gym Master Power Ranger Whovian Brony With A Huge Beard Who Promises To Bring Back Gluten-Free Bacon-Avocado Ecto Cooler POGs or whatever the fuck the cool kids are supposed to like (devil if I know, I never cared for my generation) - if you are like he who introduced us to normalized fascism, naked contempt for the Constitution and the rule of law, barely-concealed theocracy, perpetual warfare, gleeful ecocide, and all starting with a STOLEN ELECTION, I AM YOUR ENEMY. That is MY line in the sand.

Here I stand. I can do no other. Gods help me. Amen.

If one needs to draw a line in the sand somewhere - and we all do - yours is as good a place as any.

Senior Democrat Caught on Tape Pressuring Progressive Congressional Candidate to Drop Out of Race

Just found this on Truthout, next to this "Meet the Music Teacher Who Helped Organize the Arizona Teacher Strike."

I'm not really following electoral politics because it's been proven to be a charade. But this kind of stuff is just great, isn't it? More blatant, in-your-face evidence of what a joke the Pretender Democrats are and the whole system is.

Remember this?

"Well, I thank you for your question.

But I have to say, we're capitalists. Ha, uh, heh, er...that's just the way it is."

Gotta vote for the lesser of two evils.
Nah.
Nope.
That just gives us compounded evil.

Fuck these people completely.

What made it obvious that they were stealing the primary for me was the exit polls. They showed Bernie so far ahead of the Clinton Creature and then the vote tallies showed something far different from them. The media caught that and instead of questioning why it was happening they quit doing exit polling altogether. Yup. This made it seem so much better.

"Go take your tinfoil hat shit somewhere else."

Speaking of tinfoil hats, did you know that the people who were spreading 9/11 conspiracy theories were Russians? Yep. I read that today on the Great Orange blog. In fact, Russia has been tampering with the country for much longer than anyone knew. Take that! Dastardly Russians!

And this one

"I tried to support my assertion with a link to the facts of the story."

Whoboy. I can't tell you how many times I did exactly that over there on the Libyan destroyer and I was told that I was spreading right wing talking bull shite. The site that I had linked to was very reputable, but this didn't matter. It's simply amazing how blind people can be when they are so invested in a person who is 180 degrees from who they think that person is.

Yep

Which AIPAC/MIC/pharma/bank bought politician are you going to vote for? Don’t be surprised when nothing changes.

Stle an election. It started when Bush Sr ran the CIA operation to kill JFK for trying to destroy the CIA (the deep state).

@Battle of Blair Mountain It's a very plausible hypothesis, of course, but if you could cite a definitive source for that, I'd be VERY interested.

Despite being the forgotten generation (often literally)--aka GenX.

Yes, I was in my twenties in the 90s, not a child, though the youngest of us were still children in the 90s (GenX=1965-1980). But what W did smacked me in the face, hard. My partners feel the same way. So did most of my friends until Hillary and the Democrats convinced them that W was sorta kinda OK because he doesn't like Trump.
