Small Distractions
Please pardon the amateur work, but after a very long break, I am just getting back into doing my artwork and having to relearn a lot of programs. I figure that I am going to need to find a way to supplement my social security soon, and I used to make decent money at this. So I am back from hiatus work wise and need to sharpen my skills.
I did these pictures in the last two days as a way to distract me from my anxiety over this election. People here at c99 often say things that bring a picture to mind.
.
This one was inspired by the Democratic Convention:

For those who can not read Elfama's thoughts in the first picture, here is an enlargement:

I had planned on adding words to the effect of Pot-->Kettle-->black to this one, but once I went to do that, I kept trying to add more which got way too large for the bubbles. I left the bubbles in for you good folks to fill in.
I hope this can serve as a small distraction for you also. May the gods have mercy on us.
Note: Hat tip to PriceRip for showing me how to enlarge the pictures. I do these very large, and the bigger they are the better they look. = )

Thanks. I am hoping not as I am not sure
how long it will take to dismantle Social Security or how it will effect those who are already on it (other than probably just no more of those huge $3 a month increases to keep up with the 100% inflation).
Lol, the last few days have ensured me that I haven't forgotten everything, but still have a long way to go before I get to where it pays again.

Thank you so much!
Apparently the trick is to leave out the height (for landscape pics) to be able to get the bigger picture. Thanks!
