He very strongly spoke out against Wall St., etc., but he could have spoken out much more forcefully against Clinton if he had chosen. His supporters certainly spoke out strongly against Clinton, but Sanders almost ignored her in his speeches.

I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The single most reliably right-wing US city of its size north of the 37th Parallel. In 1992 and 1996, there were plenty of folks around here vociferously not desiring Clintons in the White House. Almost none of the objections went to Bill Clinton, however. Almost all of the objections centered around Hillary. And that's before we had any real track-record on her (most of the unwashed masses still had no Internet back then; it was FidoNet's hey-day.)

Bottom line: Neera Tanden is full of shit. Americans distrusted Hillary Clinton long before Bernie Sanders entered the picture, especially for Americans who reside in other States than Vermont.

What a horrible thing to do! People might actually find out what the Greens and Libertarians stand for and consider voting for them. Sounds dangerously like democracy.

I thought it was the people's right, in a republic, to vote for whom they choose. Voting should not constitute "insurrection" in a republic--always assuming this is a republic and not something else, where all us little guys owe our allegiance to the selected leader.

If it turned out that most Americans feel the way you do whether they admit it or not. What a day that will be if Jill carries those blue states and red states that don't have much Clinton hackery going on, because it was simply too hard to vote for either of those 2 revolting people leading the DemocRATlicans.

Or just sport? Hippy punching seems to have become the favorite pass-time of the DNC.

Not sure it was the Republicans -- they just thought he'd self-destruct and got some jollies seeing how directly a racist and anti-democratic position could be advocated -- for future reference. Trump's ties to the Clintons are well documented. Even Chelsea and Ivanka are best friends. Sorry for my tinfoil hat, but it had to have been hard to find someone who would be mistrusted more than Hillary.
Did it really all happen by chance? When she wins in a landslide will any of those rushing to vote for her and to block the madman ever regret being so taken in by the 1%? The 1% are all supporting Hillary because she represents their interests better than the Donald. And she also represents the greatest threat to the 99% --a fact being completely obscured by a red-haired buffoon who is being presented as a viable threat. I'm just finding this all very convenient, as the coronation proceeds unimpeded.
