Russia Did It Cuz We Assessed So

chemistry.jpg
Remember how British Prime Minister May and almost all of the British government save Jeremy Corbyn stated categorically that Russia poisoned former spy Skripal? Well, it turns out there's no scientific proof behind the claim.

British scientists at Porton Down announced that they are unable to establish the origin of nerve agent A-234 (also known as "Novichok"). Gary Aitkenhead, chief executive of the Defense Science and Technology Laboratory at Porton Down in England, told Sky News: "We were able to identify it as Novichok, to identify that it was military-grade nerve agent.

"We have not identified the precise source, but we have provided the scientific info to government who have then used a number of other sources to piece together the conclusions you have come to."

[Note the strangeness of the sentence containing the bolded part. Who is the "you" that reached those conclusions?]

But the statement from the head of the Porton Down lab hasn't stopped the British government from doubling down on the initial claim, of course. The government maintains it was Russia, because scientific results are "only one part of the intelligence picture."

London is basing its accusations on allegations that Moscow has been researching ways to deliver nerve agents, “probably for assassination,” and on the assumption that it “views former intelligence officers as targets,” a UK Foreign Office statement says. “It is our assessment that Russia was responsible for this brazen and reckless act and, as the international community agrees, there is no other plausible explanation.”

Curiously, Porton Down Lab Head Aitkenhead said there is no known antidote to Novichok, and that none was administered to either of the Skripals. He suggested the substance required "extremely sophisticated methods to create, something only in the capabilities of a state actor". That last bit, as noted by RT, was recorded separately from the rest of the press conference using different cameras and lighting. If I were a conspiracy buff, I'd think someone in the British government leaned on Aitkenhead to force him to add it.

However, as we know, the formula for the "most deadly poison ever" (that killed no one and required no antidote to save lives) was published in a book freely available on Amazon and can be manufactured by at least 20 nations around the world. It's also been claimed that it can be easily manufactured by most graduate level chemistry majors.

that even though this story is full of holes, many people are believing that Putin is guilty of doing the deed? This story changes daily and yet people truly believe that of all of the billions of people in the world he is the only one who could have poisoned the Skripals.

"Up to 135 people may have been exposed to the poison", yet we haven't heard a word about them. The front door was the source of where the poison was applied we were told after 3 weeks, so how did those people get exposed to it? Is anyone asking May about this?

About that book. Why did Hillary tell her staff not to discuss it? Inquiring minds and all ....Could the false flag have been planned for over a decade?

Just like the confabulation that Assad gassed hostiles with sarin, when none of the "victims" or their rescuers were wearing protective clothing and masks in pictures taken within hours of the supposed event. We know where the sarin used in Syria in other locations came from-->Hussein. Now what is shaking May's tree to make her government look so tough all the while looking ridiculous? What is she hoping to get out of more Russia baiting? The Tories play along with this--Labour won't.

I think you're asking the 64 billion dollar question:

Now what is shaking May's tree to make her government look so tough all the while looking ridiculous? What is she hoping to get out of more Russia baiting?

Is it possible one of the Trump campaign promises that really angered the Deep State and Military Industrial Complex was that he would require NATO members to pay up, meaning the American taxpayer, the font of all wealth, would be freed from paying everyone's dues? And is it now possible Trump has reversed that position, so that now we are agreeing to continue to pay all members' dues, which supports all the stock value that keeps the elite wealthy though their economies are fragile? NATO members cannot support NATO. They never could. Neither can we. But we are the endless source of borrowed money because we sign off on unlimited debt.

Something like that is going on because the screenplay for this saga is getting less and less believable.

that goes against the Brexit protocols and she’s afraid of what will happen when the whole mess bellies up. All of her proposals for trade have been rejected. Not in the. EU? Then no open trade for you Theresa.

Your remark about the banks is something I hadn’t read about.

Now off to Google to find out about the banks.

but no luck. I'll keep looking for it. Meanwhile back to Russia Gate, Russia called May out for her lies and she said that it's Russia who is being naughty. The chutzpah of the U.K.

However, Downing Street in effect called for calm at its weekly briefing for political reporters, simply saying it expected the wider dispute with Russia would not be settled for a long time.

A NO 10 spokesman said: “We need to respond in a proportionate way to this aggressive behaviour from Russia and that’s what we’re doing.

He added: “As the prime minister has made clear, the UK would much rather have in Russia a constructive partner ready to play by the rules. But this attack in Salisbury was part of a pattern of increasingly aggressive Russian behaviour, as well as a new and dangerous phase in Russian activity within the continent and beyond. As the prime minister has said, we must face the facts, and the challenge of Russia is one that will endure for years to come.”

They were revealed 30 years ago. If you are interested in their structures, you can see some of them in a recent Chemistry and Engineering News. They are not particularly complex and I don't see why they would be difficult to synthesize--dangerous yes, if one didn't figure out how to make it in binary form--but not difficult. They are nasty because, unlike most nerve gasses, they are persistent and recovery isn't rapid. Also I can't be the only person that wonders why Skripal came to settle 5 miles from the British center for chemical and biological warfare at Porton Down.

Your statement raises a good question.

Also I can't be the only person that wonders why Skripal came to settle 5 miles from the British center for chemical and biological warfare at Porton Down.

Is it possible Skripal accidentally poisoned himself? Maybe the area is the home of spies and operatives for various reasons, but a spy/operative who is Russian and who lives near Porton Down raises the serious question of why.

Now how in the blue hell does that make sense? Bueller ....?

Salisbury attack sites face months of decontamination

The jarring sight of experts in hazmat suits will once again return to the streets of the cathedral city of Salisbury this week as the process of decontaminating areas cordoned off following last month’s nerve agent attack begins.

Decontamination was delayed so that Easter weekend visitors to Salisbury were not greeted by the unsettling sight of officers in protective suits. The process of safely reopening the sites to the public is expected to take many months.

I don't know, but this sharade has been debunked in so many ways and yet people still believe that it happened the way that the warmongers told them it did.

any of their money already spent doesn't. Business as usual, even where there is a known and easily identified real, slow-killing and deadly threat, as there was on 9/11, in every breath people in the affected area took - unlike in this case, where keeping the False Flag flying competes in importance with business-as-usual - which is, however, never superseded.

You have two choices, make the bear your friend which has huge upsides, or poke the bear, which has huge downsides including bringing us closer to nuclear Armageddon. What is friggin wrong with the West? It has created this false narrative that Russia is bad and Putin is a thug. The West actually believes this and so acts in ways that are irrational, aggressive and indefensible. The bear knows when she is being poked. Western rationalizations travels about a micro-inch before the bear figures it out. "NATO's ABM installations in Eastern Europe on Russia's borders are to protect from Iranian missiles?" Yeah, well why aren't they gone now? They will never be gone and Russia knows this and will compensate, making the world less safe, more hostile and poorer.

This was brutally exposed by Theresa May and Boris Johnson in their vitriol and way-to-quick to judge reaction to the poisoning of the Skripals. It was embarrassing to watch them on the news. The West is mentally ill, and their leaders are sociopaths.

The question now will be were does this go? The next phase will be the statement that the lack of evidence does not prove lack of guilt. Sound familiar? Or the British could do the right thing, apologize and boot out Theresa May and Boris Johnson. What's your guess?

...without knowing who did the hit and why.

The question now will be where does this go?

If the Skripal hit was a Neocon anti-communist false flag like the trigger for all US wars since WWII has been, then Russia can only stall and play the long game, because the knives will still be out. Only Russia would know the answer to that for sure.

The only beneficiaries to what has happened so far are the US-UK-Israel troika. If this is a failed false flag, those three still wouldn't regard it as a setback. They would be even more determined to gain full-spectrum control over the world. They (correctly) see this as a war between winner-take-all capitalism and the centrally-planned economies (modern communism) that will dominate with the rise of Eurasia, anchored by China and Russia.

The Neocons still think they can win Empire. They do not see that the world has the means to take them out through strategic finance, thanks to more than a decade of meticulous planning and effort by China and Russia. No one wants the Western troika to lose face. The world wants the US to finally notice that every action it takes results in unintended consequences. The world does not wish to be ruled by the Western predatory capitalists. The world wants them to bow gracefully to the inevitable, without coming to blows.

The political system is what it is because the People are who they are. — Plato

Given the history of how the invasion of Iraq came about, major lies by intelligence officials over mass surveillance, and even government officials lying over police shootings, and lead in water systems, one might think politically involved people at least would question or apply even a mild degree of skepticism over government claims. And this regardless of party.

That the media and so many people simply accept government pronouncements with absolute blind faith still astonishes me. And these accusations of governments are not trivial and can have incredible and horrible repercussions.

Maybe people are skeptical but we don't see it because of a propagandized media. But looking around at sites at TOP, the impression is that literally every poster of diaries and comments has absolutely certainity about Russiagate. I read comments in local paper about Russiagate articles, and most posters take any anti-Russian accusation on blind faith. And if some fact contradicts the narrative, they will perform mental leaps to keep from skepticism. They will even throw movements like BLM under the Russiagate bus.

this week in the British press and from a British website about the Skripal poisoning and the government reaction:

https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2018/apr/03/porton-down-experts-unab...

… Russia’s deputy foreign minister, Alexander Grushko, called the attack a “provocation arranged by Britain” to justify high military spending because “they need a major enemy”.

https://ssscsgsfsdg.wordpress.com/2018/03/13/russia-hysteria-hits-the-uk...

… if it is so very horrifying for the government of one country to carry out targeted assassinations of people in other countries – especially when they kill hundreds of civilians in the process – why is our government so very friendly with the country which is the world leader in that activity?
