This is a thread to have FUN! Not to get all Pleasantry bitchy on one another, M.K.? This thread is for people to feel like we're sitting down next to one another, having a beer Drinks , or pure, clean water if you like, but, we're smoking a big, fat dubbie Dirol , ya feel me?

If that bothers you, you're welcome to stay but you can go hang out on the patio where the smoke won't bother you, we have speakers out there so you can listen to the music too Music 2 .

I though I would try something different, (I need a break from my Climate Change Series, I'm a little Wacko and need a break) , a musical open thread, as it were, where we use just few "words", a sentence fragment, or two really..no complex, compound elongated thoughts, with dangling past participles, ya feel me? Stop it with that Ivy league English Lit. crap MK? And none of that Dash 1 (goodwin's law) stuff, either! Aggressive

The idea anyway, is to have a little fun, unwind, and use music to express thoughts, ideas, feelings, what-ever, but to use music as the principal form of "communication". Because I think words suck, and I can't spleakworht a shit. New russian

While Rock, Country, Heavy Metal, and Blues (love the blues) are the 4 major genres I listen to on a regular basis, I would have to say Rock and Heavy Metal are what I live for......but if you stray outside these musical parameters, guess what you moron (friends, couch beer), nobody will die from it, and well, we might get exposed to something "different" so there.... Yes 3 (more than anything express yourself, with music, not words...)

(I'm a video director so, what follows is "imagery" I see in what could be a music video to the song, kind of how I relate to reality, as one long, bad, beer commercial, I've been trapped in Help )

that tone to me is like... like brass knuckles ready to pop somebody for disrespecting my better half (wife), treating me wrong, lying to me, stealing from me, talking shit behind my back..."lie to me? (big bat man cartoon explosion bubble, "boom") and guy's teeth sailing in the air.....

forget the first time I passed a road crew working on a road from the Chiemsee to Munich, drinking beer at noon in full sight of anyone driving by. That was quite the introduction (as an American) to my fairly brief, but eventful life in Germany.

I was at a conference in Spandau at a conference center/rest home. Conferencing. Spent most evenings in the tiny bar, trying German beers and smoking cigarettes, something most of us had given up in the US. Then I came home to young family.

Scientists tend to cut loose at conferences. Wink

I don't understand your words. Sigh. Spandau. If I ever get "home" I want to make a tour through Berlin and visit old places I have almost no memory of anymore. In my dreams I make a film.... ha.ha. ... guess I would have to hire RR for that.

heh, can't help it sometimes. Lotlizard posted once (may be three or four weeks ago) a beautiful piece of music that sounded like a church choir or somesuch. The video of it showed the music sheet with notes. Of course I can't find it anymore. With this stupid intertubes archives. WTF.

Sometimes I feel I need to get back to that. Oh, what I am saying, get back. I was never there. I had no positive religious influence from any church or religion in my life and seem to be quite immune to its influences. But music can make me mellow.

music, even thought I a crazy metal head. Of course I like almost any kind of music, especially if it has guitar in it, but, I appreciate "music", even the "classical" stuff. Music is sooo universal. When I think about it, I'm not sure I can pin point anyone I have even known that didn't like some kind of music.

Here's something that I listen to a lot when I'm down. It's kind of classical and doesn't have any lyrics to get in the way, but I dig it and hope you might too.
