Reporting the news in 2020
These two tweets, just a few hours apart, speaks volumes about the sad state of journalism and politics in America today. I personally really like David Sirota.

Sirota correctly spots the two massive problems here, but he fails to mention one other massive problem: the GOP didn't comment on Biden's statement either. So neither presidential campaign sees anything wrong with pledging fealty to our corporate elites.

But seriously, how much will come to pass with Joe “More of the Same” Biden as titular head of our nation? Climate change, ending endless wars, corporations actually paying their fair share, livable wages, affordable housing, secure retirement, health care for all, a more equal distribution of wealth,income, education and opportunity???
None of these thing will happen with Biden at the helm, we can count on it. A Biden term will be squandered just like My Boss‘s two terms. Trump or Biden; either way we get nothing save the hollow satisfaction of seeing Donald Trump (R) leave the White House as Joe Biden (D) prepares to give us his own version of “More of the Same”.

When was the last time there was a story on Israel, Africa, Syria, Iraq, India, Julian Assange, Gitmo, government corruption? It's all Disneyfied navel gazing and Trump Tweets by the Capitalist Propaganda machine. No wonder Americans will believe anything, the information vacuum is enormous.
