Organisms and spell check

I think we are all under tremendous pressure now with lack of food on the shelves, lack of access to necessities of life, which, incidentally, might include TP.
The incredible worries about our families, friends, and ourselves, most likely in that order, during this pandemic crisis, has caused all of us to be a bit abrupt and aggressive.
We all just need to sit back, reflect on what we love, and who we love, and do what we can, and not stress over those things we cannot control.
We just need to get through it together, via this site, as we cannot do any gathering.
You might have read some offhand comment a few weeks back that I had finally met the love of my life. He is the focus of everything I do. He is a cross between Charlemagne and George Carlin.
During a recent written discussion, and I leave it to you to determine the context, I was corrected by my spellcheck from "orgasm" to "organism". My edit was sub-par.
Now, in this time of fright, time of uncertainty, I wanted to share this with you to give you a laugh, distract you for just a minute, but to give you my wish for an organism, everyday.
We got this.

@CB Oh, it is better now that it was! TRUST ME.
The thing is, organisms are wonderful!
Have one!
This should be everyone's code.
The Legend of c99!
God, I can't live that down, and it was just so hysterically funny, I wanted to share it here with all my pals.
I hate it when I make an ass of myself, but let's face it, we all need a laugh, it can come at my expense!

I turned it off recently to see what my mind was capable of.
Horribly incorrect at first but now I'm sounding out words and my original spelling is increasingly correct.
We take too much for granted and let the machines do the mental work.
It's like we don't have time for the basic things anymore.
I'm making more time on purpose. It's not as if I don't have any spare time hanging around lately waiting for the toilet paper to be restocked.

Regardless of the path in life I chose, I realize it's always forward, never straight.

@Pricknick A goof can lead to the sort of goof I made.
Good on you for making your brain work.
I am congratulating myself for making my body work.
Take care, don't get sick!

computers can have dyslexia? When I read the title I immediately thought this looks very interesting. Of course I read it as "Orgasms and smell check". Reading further was a lot of "wait! Was that Fire Truck or Friar Tuck?" -isms. Of course I'm still smarting from not catching extermanism and extremism. No lifeline from smell check on that one.

Every word was spelled correctly and misused. Lots of homonyms and so on. It was hilarious. I tried to find it in his archives to no avail.

I've never been a good speller. Huked on Fonicks worked for me.

I found this conversation interesting about relationships during the COVID-19 (45 min)
[video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRR2ot8CuM4&t=8m31s]

Living within the confines of your home, squeezed in with family members, can be frustrating and stressful. Especially when you're seeing your savings vaporize in the markets on a daily basis.

On top of that, many households aren't receiving income while under lockdown. And many of those still with jobs are increasingly fearful that the longer this persists, the more likely their job will be lost in the coming mass layoffs.

The key to preserving your happiness and sanity during this undetermined period of house arrest will be maintaining your emotional resilience, as well as healthy relationships with those living under your roof.

With expert guidance on how to do that, Chris takes time in today's video update to interview Dr. Peter Boghossian, best-selling author of the book 'How To Have Impossible Conversations'.

Dr Boghossian explains how to get your spouse, your kids, your elderly/at risk family members, onto or at least nearer to a mutual understanding of the 'house rules' that will preserve safety, respect and harmony.

I thought there was lots of good advice about communicating in general...in lock down or not. Take care OTC and glad you've got your stockpile of beer!

@Lookout it wasn't in some appellate brief!
I spoke with my paralegal last night.
We close today for "the duration", so perhaps while home, beer in hand, I might actually read what I typed, not what I meant to type.
I think I am ready for this, but it is happening while I am sort of off the rails from the start.
I am home alone, do not have to tolerate anyone, and nobody has to tolerate me.
There is that.
Hope you enjoyed my faux pas!
Stay well!

I woke up this morning determined to drink less, eat right, and exercise.
But that was four hours ago when I was younger and full of hope.
