This is a both siderism that both parties and the press agree on. R's hate this shiny thing, D's defend this shiny thing, the talking heads worriedly report on the shiny thing.
Meanwhile, homelessness is a law enforcement issue, as is mental illness. Health care is an issue for the bankruptcy courts. The IRS is given funds to go after bigger tax cheats, but instead audit even more little people for information the IRS already has at it's fingertips. Why? Because it's easier.

I must be getting old. Minimum wage, "seven point two five dollars per hour". I mean, that's accurate but jeez...I guess cents are just too old fashioned to think of.
Anyway, I shut it down because I got bored with her doing the usual thing, the Dem thing of protecting the right to be a "they" or cross-dressing. Yes, it's chilling to have laws *prohibiting* these but to spend so much time on them, to highlight them, pushes a lot of other stuff out of mind. It's more of the old "Dems will rob you but let you keep the empty wallet".
As to the question of why grifters like Jimmy Dore don't talk about Republicans...you know, I was wondering about that last night. Does he ever have videos featuring Republican wrongs? Because I don't see them here. It's possible that 99ers just prefer the Dem bashing and only post those. I stopped looking for his videos when he excused Tulsi with "why should I care about India?" It makes me wonder if he truly cares about Ukraine. It must pay the bills.
