as well as the other congress critters' sons and daughters just to show that they are willing to die for nothing. Or for oil.

Funny how no one talks about how people are willing to go to war for oil, but not to stop the genocide in Yemen. I think the priorities are bassackwards.

This guy's arrogance and hubris is just amazing. Iran..., but not the great USA! He's getting his buttocks kicked on Twitter.

U.S. sought attack on al-Qaida - White House given plan days before Sept. 11

The Iraq war was planned before Bush took office and the PNAC group sent Clinton a letter asking him to start the war, but he had his hands full with the Monica Lewinsky affair so he just lobbed a few bombs at them.

Before we invaded Afghanistan the poppy fields had been eradicated by 90%. That's when the CIA took over the trade and whola the opioid epidemic was born. I wonder how the troops feel about helping Americans get addicted to opioids? Protecting our freedoms right?

@snoopydawg

and how they created AQ and took over the opium trade.

Summary

This report is about American and British involvement in the Afghan drug trade in opium, focusing on the history of such involvement, and the nature of the drug trade since the 2001 occupation of Afghanistan. Today, Afghanistan supplies “more than 90 per cent of the world’s illicit opium, from which heroin is made,”[1] so who’s profiting from the trade?

Then we throw people in prison for using it and the CIA props up drug lords in certain cities so they can rat out other drug lords. And the circle goes round and round...

So Americans aren't allowed to visit our bestest ally's country? Well we can't visit our other bestest ally if we don't like what they are doing to Palestinians. Boy we really know how to pick our friends.

@snoopydawg Allowed, absolutely.
You and I cannot go there. We have to be sent there by some company.
Oil related, of course.

Jason Lewis, a Republican running for US Senate in Minnesota, once said Republicans had "dual loyalties" to Israel, adding that support for the country was the result of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee and a "very strong American Jewish lobby."
Lewis, who also argued that the Israel lobby controlled the Republican Party, said in a February 2013 radio show that many in the party viewed the country as the "51st state." He claimed policymakers in President George W. Bush's administration, including former UN Ambassador John Bolton, were dual citizens of Israel and the United States. (Bolton, who was fired last week by President Donald Trump, is neither Jewish, nor is he a citizen of Israel.)
"You've got a number of dual citizens, by the way, citizens of Israel and citizens of the United States serving in government," Lewis said. "In any other country that might be seen as a problem, but it's not here because of that special relationship."
"John Bolton's a dual citizen for instance of Israel and America," Lewis added later. "There's no question that there are a number in -- during the Bush years -- there were a number of dual citizens, citizens of Israel, citizens of America who were making policy."

@gjohnsit

"Look, let me be clear about what I'm saying here. Is this nation controlled by a Jewish cabal? The Jewish banker theory? Of course not," Lewis said. "Is the Republican Party, however, unduly influenced by AIPAC and the Israeli lobby? Of course they are. The neoconservatives in the Republican Party from John Bolton on down view Israel as a 51st state. And if you dare, dare not to support what Israel does, if you dare not support going to war with Iran -- so Israel is safe -- you are not only not a good Republican, not fit to be Secretary of Defense, you are an anti-Semite."

lol..Schumer, Hoyer and many, many democrats are beholden to Israel and some of them probably have dual citizenship. Rahm Emmanuel does as do/did many people in Obama's administration. The PNAC group are pretty much all Jewish and some of them have it too. But no one will ever come close to discussing how Israel has so much power over the government. This is what makes Russia Russia such a farce

@snoopydawg

so I turn him off when I see him on any screen.

One of the reasons I left the Democratic Party was because they have become so hypocritical in their focus they caused me to find myself agreeing with the GOP at times.

Like the other day, Queen Hillary was shocked... I mean shocked that Trump might have used his position to get another country to help his campaign for President. Seriously. This from a woman who was willing to pull racist shit out of a hat to bump Obama's candidacy when they ran against each other. And do you see any Dems saying, hey wait Hillary... you and Bill used your public trust to manipulate all kinds of people to fill your personal coffers. You even used the public paid for government communication systems to do so. You openly defied an order from the President to 1- attend classes at the State Dept on the meaning of classified emails 2- to never use your government account to do Foundation business and 3- to have no communications with Sydney Blumenthal. And yet Trump shocks YOU? Bill openly spent money when he was President to manipulate the Russian election in favor of good old drunk Boris. Open interference in another election is OK when Bill does it. Obama is bent on destroying the lakeside public lands of Chicago to build his monument to himself. Do you hear a raising of voices among Dem environmentalists nationally? Michelle Obama calls George W. Bush 'a lovely man', and I have yet to hear any Dem publicly call her out for that. No, no, you will not see any democrat raising their hand and pointing out when and where Dems do the same kind of shit as the Republicans, or worse.

As for the Dems and Israel, they are just as whorish as any other group who buys into this Christian crap about US/Israel made in heaven connection. The Dems are supporting an apartheid system of appalling human rights violations and no one is looking in the mirror and invoking our long self described US moral stance for human rights. Schumer and Hoyer and the rest of them have sold us down the river with Israel. All of them disgust me.

Thus endeth my Saturday morning sermon.
