New York Congressional District 22,
where I live, is now being represented by the Insane Batgirl Claudia Tenney. The former Rep., Anthony Brindisi, was a fairly undistinguished member of the legislature and set for a good long career there doing the bidding of real estate interests and voting for the occasional good bill when he could. I voted for him because he cosponsored GMO labelling bills in the legislature. Schemer recruited him to run for congress, where he was clearly out of his depth, so now we have the Batgirl again, no doubt on her way to the Middle East to be partied and pampered and told how to vote. Think I am making that up, do you? Exactly that was her FIRST move last time she was in Congress. Thanks a lot, Schemer. From where I am, them squadies look pretty good.
Maybe some of you might want to chime in on your own congresscritters and how they look from worm's eye view in your neighborhoods.

Kevin Brady
is my US rep. He was Chairman of Ways and Means. I voted for his opponent, an ID pol type, who made no dent in his numbers. I know him personally.
He drives me crazy with his conservative spiel, but he is unfailingly polite to me, his token commie buddy.
Like I say, I voted for his opponent.

The woman was Hispanic.
Brady is from Conroe, Montgomery County, Texas, the largest and most populous city in District 8, as far as I know. It was one of the first counties in Texas to turn Republican, and man, they are deeply entrenched there. They are guns, Bible, anti-tax, pro-war. I have heard candidates at rallies say to the cheering crowd that all Muslims should be killed. I stood up, told him to go fuck himself, left the building. Brady was in the room at the time. He said nothing.

Me too.
OtC, you have my permission to add my name to anything nasty you care to mention regarding the odious Rep. Brady. I vote against him every chance I get as well.
Ok, with your permission...
Next time I see him, I will tell him that I and my pal do not like his conservatism at all, and hope he gets his ass beat next time. I might tell him I am studying the Koran and what it has to say about people like him, and so on, and so forth!

My Congressperson
Florida 1. Mine is Matt Gaetz. Somebody has to have him. The Democrats usually don't even bother running someone for this seat. This year they did. He was the most generic person who was not for anything.
Gaetz has had at least a dozen DUI's from when he was younger but they all disappeared, like magic. He even punched out a cop who had the nerve to give him a ticket and then got the cop fired. And then there was also a dead roommate at Florida State.

I win
Mine are Mike Lee and Mittens Romney. One says that he is a constitutionalist/Mormon and the other is a windsock/Mormon. Lee only pays attention to that issue when it stands in the way of what he wants. Ya never know how Romney will go on any issue.

You have some fantastic scenery in
Is Romney going to try for president again in 2024?
Mary Bennett
We do that
I’ve only driven 70 a few times and love the scenery. There are so many incredible sites here. 5 national parks which are seeing record traffic during the epidemic. I’m glad that I saw lots of southern Utah in the 80's and I in my 20's. I was able to get a shot of delicate arch with no one in it. Now you’re out there with hundreds of people and traffic is backed up for miles. I wasn’t impressed with Zion and can’t see any reason to visit Bryce Canyon. Ick. My favorite areas are Arches and Moab down south and anywhere in the mountains up north. I can be hiking up a canyon within 10 minutes after leaving home. Not too shabby. The back country is amazing too.
