Why does NPR news continue to repeat the lie that there was violence at the Nevada Democratic Convention. Does NPR allow the Clinton Campaign to write it's news stories these days?

And now I'm getting to the point that I don't even listen anymore. Why waste my time listening to news on NPR if that news is false and no real journalism as been done to get to the bottom of what actually happened.

The ombudsman already somehwhat criticized NPR's reporting of the Nevada convention and the chair throwing incident, so I guess that shows how much their on air talent gives a damn but I still applaud you.

I gave up on NPR years ago, let them have Cokie Roberts, Mara Liasson. Also check out the SALARIES they pay those "brilliant" reporters and "hosts" - Ms. Martin, Scott Simon, a whole bunch of them are getting very HIGH six figures. That's where the fundraising goes.

...but if you load the clip into something like VLC, zoom in, turn on a the brightness & contrast adjustment tools to bring out the details and run the tail end of the clip back and forth a few times, it likely is not her flippin’ the bird. Try it for yourself.
That being said, it sure as hell does not look like someone in emotional distress and Boxer has been running around doing everything she can to push the smear.

If you do bother to deconstruct the vid, it is obvious (to me) that what looks like her finger in that still is actually part of the background. Look at the 2-4 frames before the one displayed. The vertical blob that looks like her finger is part of the background. It is not her finger.
This all sounds like I'm defending the "Box". I ain't. She's out there lyin' her ass off. But she's a pro. She ain't this sloppy. She's a well seasoned political operative and she is not about to flip the bird in such a critical situation with a gabillion cell phone recording.

Here is another good report on what happened.
Camp does not mention this, but please pay attention to when Boxer says that she has a message from Bernie Sanders. You can distinctly hear the HRC horde booing. So when she followed up with "and from Hillary," what did they expect? Nice set up.
I do not recall if it is on this tape or another one I saw, but when Lange asked for that first voice count, the guy behind her in the blue shirt was signalling to HRC people to yell louder. I am sure that does not show any bias at all, does it?

I believe the younger one is actually a Hillary supporter as well. She was out with Bernie protestors in solidarity after the shenanigans at the convention and has actually been in other videos with the other woman (Adryenn Ashley I believe). The following video link is a bit long, but if you want an authoritative explanation of what went down at the convention, the nitty gritty details of what the NV Dem State Party was actually trying to do you should really check it out.

They offer a level of detail untouched by 'news' orgs that simply keep reporting what the state party and Ralston claim. Politifact completely gets this one wrong (primarily citing aforementioned biased sources), yet that won't stop Hillary drones from using it like it is the word of God and beyond reproach.

The cool part about it
This was uploaded to FB the Monday after the Saturday convention. Everything that they claim that is verifiable checks out from other sources, which makes the other points they bring up far more credible. These folks are clearly emotionally stable people just interested in the truth and an honest process, and their explanation of the events fits perfectly into the timeline based on other info I've read.

I will send a letter of my own to NPR. This fact-free coverage has even impacted their quiz shows--on "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me" Peter Sagal referred to the Las Vegas convention where Bernie supporters "rioted, threw chairs, and got into fist fights." Their quiz shows were the last things we felt were worth tuning in to hear on NPR. But even they are slipping. So-called "jocular" references premised on lies are unacceptable.
