No. No we’re not. I’m enjoying your joy. But I am aghast at the “in your face!” comments and the “in your face Markos!” diaries. It reinforces my fears that if Ms. Clinton wins that a good number of Sanders supporters will bail during the general. In fact, in the last 24 hours I’ve seen the worst kos diary I’ve ever seen in my 12 years here. And spare me the “but both sides do it” replies.

Well you are right about one thing, A lot of us WILL bail.
We will not support a Pro-fracking candidate in these times where global climate change is a massive concern.
We will not support a candidate that is pro military intervention and regime change, particularly when such change is only of benefit to the MIC and those that profit from them. We will not support a candidate whom’s family as accepted literally over 150 MILLION DOLLARS in “Speaking Fees” that she then places conditions on when she will release the transcripts for?
Why wait for the Republicans to release theirs? YOU are not running against the Republicans Mrs. Clinton, You are running against Mr. Sanders.
We are talking about a Candidate that called black children Super Predators.
We are talking about a candidate that STILL accepts money from the private prison industry that capitalizes on a racist criminal justice system.
We are talking about a Candidate the Supports trade deals that have been PROVEN to be damaging to the middle and lower classes.
Yet you vote for her and DARE call yourselves progressive, or liberal, Or Democrats?
Sorry, but if you support these policies and the candidate that has espoused them I got only one word tp call you.
Hypocrites.

Do you mind if I save that?
It encapsulates everything I want to say to my pro-Hillary acquaintances here in NC. I'm so sick of the "experience" and "electability" arguments I could scream. Since you laid it out so neatly, I'd like to just steal it if that's okay..
On the other hand, I have fewer pro-Hillary acquaintances now than I had two weeks ago. Both myself and my parents voted early for Bernie and some of my parent's friends have as well. I'm basically down to co-workers who only know what CNN tells them. This list is just what I need to help nudge them.
Oh, and if you're looking to get banned--well done!
not to be a dick, but
I've heard lots of debate about the psychology, and attacking Clinton makes people feel attacked.
Better to go with the positives: Sanders is more electable, wants to invest in America, etc, etc (then maybe a little dig at Clinton
I understand the value of the argument you put forth.... but
The arrogant self-righteousness of Hillary supporters/partisan Democrats is more than I can bear. They are the problem. They sold the party to Wall Street. They moved it further and further to the right out of sheer stupidity or for their own political and personal gain. It wasn't Nader, commies, DFHs, and pony worshippers that destroyed our party and our middleclass, it was the Clintons, Rubinites and their dumb voters. If I had to pick which of the remaining candidates I would prefer win the WH, #1 is Bernie and Trump is #2. Trump may be a racist ass, but Cruz is a real slime bucket and Hillary is a crook.
Until we can hurt them, we have no power. The Tea Party didn't get where they are by playing nice. It was their way or the highway, and they took out everyone who got in their way. Well I'm ready to learn from the GOP playbook. Hillary is going down.

I hardly think you're being a dick
I think our experiences *ahem* elsewhere are making us preface our opinions a bit.
You have a valid point in that attacking Clinton supporters doesn't help matters. I don't like it when they attack Bernie--although, as we all know, their arguments are false while ours about her are true
I'm going to work on finding a better way to state my case to the other team, but I'm still keeping that list, just 'cause its awesome...
Excellent point, GreyWolf! That observation
would apply to supporters of any candidate, IMHO. It's almost always counterproductive to sling invectives. Which is one reason that I've not commented at DKos, but a handful of times, in almost a year!
We'll decide in November how to handle our vote. We have more than one residence, and our registration is not where we've had to spend the most time in, due to access to Vanderbilt and Saint Thomas medical facilities (which is a lengthy trip for us, even from our residence in Tennessee).
Either way, since we're not in a flat-out 'blue' state, it's a matter of principle (having little practical consequence) regarding how we vote. Although we early-voted for Bernie, we plan to see how things are handled, in the event that FSC should 'swindle her way into the nomination.' (Pardon my French!) We both voted for Stein in 2012, though, so that's a possibility.
What neither of us will do, is vote for a corporatist Dem. FSC can 'go fly a kite,' as far as we're concerned!
BTW, great to see you here--a hearty C99P welcome!

Just curious, where in NC are you?

I've got to check the comments more often :)
I'm in the mountains of NC, a little town called Boone (tiny little blue dot in a sea of red) on the Tennessee border.
I love that area.

What was particularly amusing to me
... was when Donald Trump did a loyalty pledge at his rally GOS went berserk with cries of Adolph Hitler. And yet every single day loyalty pledges are demanded of everyone at GOS.
Yeah, I plan on voting for the candidate who I think best represents my interests and the interests of the country. In a Clinton/Trump competition that means Jill Stein.

is Jill Stein the candidate this year?
I went to the Green website to look and she was the candidate in 2012 but it seems like they nominate in August of this year and don't have anyone named yet. Correct me if I'm wrong, because I want to vote for the Green candidate if TPTB make this a Clinton/Trump "choice".
If Clinton is the D standard-bearer for 2016, my state is going to go hard for Trump (or Cruz, may the FSM have mercy on us all), and I'm not going to add even one vote to close the margin for her so the establishment can spin her loss, and no one is shaming me into voting for her because terror SCOTUS conservatism. No more Giant Douche or Turd Sandwich choices for me....
Far as I know she is.
She's been on twitter with VERY anti-war/anti-corporate slogans. No punches pulled, etc.
I do not pretend I know what I do not know.
I haven't decided
between Dr. Jill Stein or writing in Bernie. Right now, I am thinking about the write in if Bernie does not get the nomination. As I have posted here and there before, I cannot in good conscience vote for the most hawkish candidate of them all, Clinton.

For me, I like the Green option
I feel like "parking my vote" there makes it more visible. I think that perhaps if enough do it then it becomes a tempting target for the Democratic party when they get sick of losing. And heck, if they don't ever get sick of losing then if enough do it it becomes a viable party.

Very succinctly phrased, but ...
am I somehow blipping over it, or did you not point out the millions she's raked in from Wall Street super predators.
I think it's safe to use "super predators" in that context, don't you?

I think it's an excellent comment.
You are a truth-teller in that comment. People don't always want to hear the truth. Too bad.

w00t! Well said, mate.
The hypocrisy. It burns, eh! Loyalty pledges left good, loyalty pledges right, bad. Ridiculous.

Don't you love the dual excuses?
If we're not hearing about how 'The two parties are not the same! Democrats are so much better than Republicans" blah blah blah, how dare you indicate anything similar between the two parties- we get to hear how, 'the other side does it" and 'both sides do it' as if those are viable excuses for why Democrats get to do the same things Republicans do but 'get away with those things'.
What the supporters of the Democratic Establishment really mean is that the Republicans are damned awful, and that Democrats only have to be a little bit less awful to be the 'better' party. The bar has been set so low, Hillary Clinton gets to proclaim she's better than a Republican and that's somehow supposed to mean something.
The lesser of two evils
is still EVIL. I prefer good, myself.

right! And "don't let the perfect etc."
I forget the rest...but in Bernie's case he's good enough. He's not an evil...wait...what's this? It's the voice of Big Al in my ear! Well, ok. I'll put it this way. If airplanes stop working then Bernie's a very, very good candidate. See, if we didn't have airplanes we couldn't send all those soldiers and weaponry overseas, especially because, with no need for airplane fuel, we wouldn't need all that oil, so we wouldn't be involved in all that intervention or warmongering or whatever it's called and then Bernie's domestic policies would be all we needed to talk about.
LMAO Shahryar!! Big AL is hardcore.
He is coming from a place of peace and he is militant about it which I love. That is the only kind of war that I condone also, the one against war, hate and violence.
Where I split with Big Al is that although I agree that war ins't ever the correct answer sometimes it must be endured. The Revolutionary War is an example, World War II also.
If everyone in the world could all just sit down, relax and pass this around

LoL Not sure, haven't checked. :)
I haven't been spending very much time over at the GOS lately.

been there once. and only once.
Greg pointedly told me that Bernie had no chance. That was a day after Gos' first bullshit hammer. So after Bernie kick colonic access points in MI, I went there the next morning, reprinted his post to me, and simply said Bye.
I will not return. Sadly, there are still some nice people there who have not moved away. I suspect that they will, if only because I don't think Gos can stop himself from issuing some other edict or making some other bone-headed move.
Whether I agree with you or not
I will always defend your right to say and do as you please. That is a Democracy. That is freedom.

Telling the truth? How dickish of you!
I used to love the way Hillbots would claim anyone who reported actual facts was "being mean." So your list is very "mean," (i.e., fact-filled) and I LOVE it! Great summary of why a lot of us won't vote for her, no matter what they try to scare us with.
It's such a relief to be out of DK and to have a place where you're not going to get hammered for being honest. Apologies, I know I've said that about a thousand times now, but it's true. Walking on eggshells really is stressful. Who needs it?
