It cleared last night and this morning is fresh and cool with blue skies. We got another 2" of rain this weekend. The forests have responded and world here is green. The garden is doing well too.

I'm framing up and getting ready to pour a 4x8' slab today for a new wellhouse. Took the old one down piece by piece last week. Onward....

“Until justice rolls down like water and righteousness like a mighty stream.”

My husband and I never watched it until season 6 or 7. After watching that one season, we decided to watch them all. I am so glad we did. When we're done watching season 8 week by week, we're are going to binge it. There is something very different about watching it all in one swell foop than waiting a whole week inbetween episodes.

I don't want to ruin it for anyone who hasn't seen it, but I would highly recommend this HBO show.

"Religion is what keeps the poor from murdering the rich."--Napoleon

@dkmich I tried to watch it for the first time ever last night. I was unable to make it through the entire episode due to too much reliance on violence / special effects. I fail to see what makes this show such a BFD.

Of course, I hope I'm mistaken and a lot of people have not been doing proper maintenance on their cars. Mostly to the south of me, in SoCalTown... Yes, I am calling that very particular style of mini mall/big box with huge parking that these days. Feels right and appropriate. No apologies to any Corporate Americans I offend with that. I'm at least old enough to remember that things used to be different.

But hey, I know I'm just an old Cynic who can't keep up with all these new fashions. When the Sneetches run out of money, I always wondered why the Sneetches didn't beat the shit out of the guy grinning about how he had everything and they had nothing and there was nothing they could do about it because they were stupid... (Dr. Seuss had another moral in mind. I saw it more as, "if you have money, somebody will try to scam you out of it...and then try to convince you that it was a good thing." )
