A Moment of Silence Please.

Dastardly stupid time is upon us. Let us take a moment to pay our respects to all of the unnecessary excess deaths and injuries which will occur as a result of this brain dead annual imposition.

We don’t do Dastardly Stupid Time around here. We’re like this all year, heh.

My clocks remain unchanged.

up my circadian rhythms.

Of course, that upset is minor compared to the existential despair of realizing that I am actually only a circada. And here I thought I was a *people* all these years...

Sigh. Winter is coming, and I'd better get on with rubbing my legs together toot sweet.

I feel sorry for those so disconnected from the natural earth and real world systems and function that playing with the clock will provide some sort of relief, fix, or answer. A Circadian short-circuit methinks.

I read once there was a big fight about it when it started I think in Indiana. The two main sides were the bowling people who know light later meant more biz, and the drive-in movie people, that need it to get dark at a reasonable time. Up north like that in the summer it is light much later than the southern part of the country anyway, so was an issue at the drive-in... I think if it would have been a pay-per-view cage match it would be more well known... Wink

Thanks again for the reminder!
